   Gotta say I'm a bit gutted. Took my family for Mother's Day. Sat on an old table that nobody could lean on next to the toilet. Our kids food came about 15mins before our startes, we then waited a good hour for our mains. By then our two little kids had well lost interest and were bored. My burger was very dry. Wife enjoyed her roast though. We are as quick as we could before the kids became too restless. When we did want more drinks I just went to the bar and ordered as nobody ever checked in us. I own my own business and often get tips so I always like to tip well. Gota day the 80p that I left even annoyed me. Have had a lovely meal before so maybe an off day.

   Ok experience. The lobster and chips came out luke warm. Mixed grill was good value. Drinks and refill of drinks was slow. They were very busy.

   I really enjoyed my evening, food , venue and staff were wonderful. What sullied my experience was; having had a really nice evening with good friends, arriving home I received an email, chastising me for not making my reservation, I was told that you took a 'hit' when people of my ilk did not bother to turn up. Appalled, I wrote back immediately, explaining that I had made my reservation. I got up early the next day at 6.00 am to receive another offensive email, stating that I could not respond to the first one but could I take the time to explain why I did not make my reservation. I responded to that too. Then I got another email asking for feedback which I am responding to now. I think you should review your data collecting system. I know plenty of people who would happily book 5 restaurants for one evening and just go to the one that suited them best. They would not care less about your cutting emails. I however have never not made a reservation without informing the restaurant in question, and find your emails offensive. Should I return to your restaurant I will make sure I get some assurance from a member of your staff, that I am indeed present and I will not receive any offensive email to the contrary.

   Sadly let down this time as our food was over cooked! I ordered my steak medium rare and it came medium to well and my partner ordered her tuna steak pink and it came well done and her veg came swimming in sauce! Not the best meal we had although the ambiance and service was good and we will Weren't put off and will be back!! We were also told when the bill was presented that we would be given a complementary meal on our next visit so let's hope they can redeem themselves....

   Lovely meal as always - staff very attentive. Can highly recommend the delicious menu

   Only went for a quick lunch but waited over an hour for our sandwiches. Apparently there was a staff shortage. Two glasses of wine whilst waiting was over£18. They were very pleasant there and when I have been there before it has been much better

   Booked a table here on impulse for my birthday nice meal was proper gastronomy but experience I had not been sure what to expect it's fairly local so we will return great cheeseboard and happy and helpful staff

    Lovely place and lovely food. Would def go back. It certainly had a great atmosphere too. Easy place to chat with friends.
