   This was our favorite meal in Boothbay Harbor. The service was fantastic, the meal couldn’t have been more delicious, and we enjoyed our evening so much. We were five and enjoyed the tuna, the lamb chops, the filet, crab cakes, and chowder... delicious!

   First much confusion about where to seat us then they blamed open table saying internet reservations are sometimes not accurate.Now to the food scallops where gritty and The haddock seemed to have been sitting was at room temp which wouldn’t surprise me considering it took 21/2 hrs for two meals and a app (crab cakes very good highlight of the meal)trying to be fine dining but miss the mark

   If you haven't been here for a while, GO! Food truly is fantastic, service is friendly, and the ambiance is as cozy as ever.

   Very enjoyable dinner. Great food and great service! Would definitely return for another meal. The waitstaff were very attentive, but not rushing... We highly recommend The Thistle Inn to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Boothbay Harbor.

   Everything was great. One party member has food allergies and they were very accommodating. Food was fantastic.

   This visit was a big disappointment and after having visited every trip to Boothbay for years, I doubt I will go back. The service was slow and the food was so salty I could barely eat it.

   Had one of the best meals of my life! Cozy, romantic, with friendly and efficient staff. The food choices were exceptional and reasonably priced. Highly recommended!

    Really great menu with fresh and excellent food. The wait staff was terrific and the atmosphere warm and cozy.
