    This was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in Dallas. We booked a table for 6 people for a family birthday. Things were off from the time we arrived- there seemed to be complete confusion as to who should take drink orders. Throughout the meal, both the waiter and the host kept coming by to take orders. And once we finally ordered, it took almost an hour for food to arrive. They were “out of steak” (?!), the pork chop was dry, and I got sick that night from the Crab Louie. There was almost no one else in the place- other people must know something we didn’t. I doubt if The Theodore will still be open in a few months.

    Food and drink is good, but we've now been twice and unfortunately the service has been slow both times. Our waiter was nice & apologetic, but it seems like the restaurant definitely needs to address this issue. We won't come again unless we are sure that time isn't of high importance.

    This was our first time at The Theodore and it was great. One of the best burgers I have ever had! My husband loved his salmon salad. We will definitely visit again coming or going from a movie at NorthPark.

    Even though is located inside of a mall, this place is good. The ambiance is beautiful and the food was very good. We ordered the brunch burger which was big enough to get my husband full with half of it. I ordered the lobster roll and it was delicious! We had a good time overall!

    Sadly this is another Dallas eatery that can’t sustain good service and good food. I was there with friends Sunday at noon before seeing a movie in the mall. Hostess was not friendly or welcoming. Server never came back to check on the table after someone else served our food and he never freshened our drinks. Veggie burger was all onions and mushrooms and not very good. The bun tasted strange- it looked great but it had a strong chemical taste and was not edible. The iced tea was good. I’ve been here several times and each time it’s worse on all levels. It’s extremely loud too. The patio has been great for happy hours.

    Waiter was never around. I refilled our waters myself twice. I asked for the manager and he never came. It wasn’t until I got up to refill our waters a third time that the manager happened to notice. Food came out luke warm. Waiter came by to apologize finally and then never returned after that. Manager took 50% off and the bill was still $50 for 5 sandwich’s. Overpriced

    The service was TERRIBLE! Management and staff was argumentative, they were out of basics like TEA, and the food was delayed and cold. Unfortunate as this used to be our go-to place for brunch. Second time recently that the service goes downhill. Sad...

    It took awhile for our server to come over. Once he did we placed drink orders. Then the manager came by informing us one of the wine selections was not available and that the wine menu wasn’t up to date. We then ordered food, 3 of the orders being steak. The manager came by again saying they only had 2 steaks so someone needed to change their order. Having only 2 steaks on a Friday night seems odd. The food tasted pretty good however it was hard to enjoy because all the can lights were flickering and strobing. This place is cute and could be great but the staff just seemed to not care

    Our waiter, Mike, was excellent. He did everything to please us. When there was a problem with my entree the manager went out of his way to cheerfully handle it. This is a very nice restaurant and we will return.

    Our waiter was very personable, always had a smile on his face! The atmosphere was fun but not too loud. Food was delicious! Drinks were very good! I whole heartedly recommend to families, girlfriends getting together, guys meeting for drinks or business luncheon. Even the hostess was so sweet and friendly. I guess you can tell I love, love, love The Theodore!

    We were seated next to the servers’ computer and they would rudely talk loudly, to where I couldn’t have a conversation with the people I was dining with. Salmon salad was subpar, due mostly to the salmon being rare- cold middle throughout rare. Server was training someone new and was barely attentive, didn’t check on us thoroughly and I watched her walk around the restaurant, so she was tending to other tables. She barely spoke to us and didn’t offer dessert which is awkward to have to yell for her to come back since I took colleagues to lunch to enjoy a lunch out of the office. $95 for terrible service and subpar food is not a great business model, especially for a lunch.

    Loved the small room tucked back behind the bookcase which provided a nice space for business gathering. Disappointed that the popular wine requested was not available and the less preferred wine requested was very limited (1 1/2 glasses). Our server did a great job of checking in and provided great service.

    We made a reservation for brunch on Sunday. We were seated promptly and ordered without any delay. However, one of the orders for our table (two eggs scrambled with ham) evidently had to wait on the orders of chilaquiles, and the egg order was not even lukewarm. Sent the plate back and got a new plate a few minutes later. In addition, we are chilaquiles aficionados, but these were so spicy and flavorless (sounds oxymoronic, but it was true) as to be inedible. Not a good experience this time.

    Restaurant marked is as no-show despite being on time for reservation. Also our server didn’t show until we had sat around for 10min. She came back to take our order but never came back to refill our water or coffee or clear our table of appetizer plates. Also 3 of the 4 dishes came out cold. The food tasted only ok. Nothing really stand out about it. The service here is terrible despite it looking nice. Would not recommend.

    I went for brunch and I’ve brunched all over Dallas and there are better places to go. Tbh, it was the location that bothered me. It’s in a mall so there are many families and it gets packed. Take my advice with a grain of salt, I’m just a 20something Dallas bruncher and this just didn’t really fit my taste. It was still nice though but for families :)
