Welcome to The Terrace Restaurant at RHS Garden Wisley
Located within the stunning RHS Garden Wisley, The Terrace Restaurant provides a relaxed dining experience, with lunch served at your table featuring fresh produce from the gardens where possible. Please note that garden entry fees apply for non-RHS members.

Dietary Information:
All dishes are prepared in an environment where nuts and gluten are present and may contain traces. If you have dietary requirements, please inform us at the time of booking (we require at least 48 hours' notice) and kindly remind the server when placing your order.
Opening Hours:
• Lunch: Served daily from 11:30 am to 2:15 pm
• Afternoon Tea: Served daily from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm
• Breakfast: Served daily Monday to Friday from 10am to 11am, Saturday and Sunday from 9:00 am to 10:45 am
To book Afternoon Tea, please ensure you select the "Experiences" time slot from 2:30 pm.

A small menu but something to please everyone in our party especially the chef’s special of the day. Well presented and tasted delicious. Temperature was just perfect considering font was 27* outside. No loud music which enabled us to enjoy conversation

Booking was easy and quick; welcome on arrival was the same. Food portions were sensible, rather than hearty, quite appropriate for the warm summer. Space around the tables was adequate and the general experience was one which encouraged a return visit.

Tasty seasonal food suitable for a range of appetites. Restaurant wasn’t busy but service was much slower than expected-2 hrs for two courses. Staff were polite and friendly. Music a bit Radio 2, something more like Classic fm might suit the clientele- perhaps they could mix it up a bit.

The restaurant is very pleasant but was disappointed with the food, especially for the cost. My friend & I are trying different afternoon teas and this was not great. The gluten free scones were more like biscuits, crunchy and the bread fell apar. The standard version only had one scone. Not worth £30. The service was slow but very friendly.

Unfortunately as they were short of staff we had rather a long wait for our main meals & we were unable to have egg in our salad apparently they were soft boiled & too runny to serve so they gave us extra mackerel instead which really wasn’t what we had wanted. As they knew it was my husbands birthday they only acknowledged him when we came in where as last time they made more of a gesture.with the dessert

I would have preferred a jug of iced water on the table, not served by a waiter. The food was delicious

A lovely restaurant, very pleasant and attentive staff. The food is also very good. My issue is the price. £33 for two courses is just too much. I will find it hard to justify another visit.
