A birthday lunch for my 13 year old grand-daughter was just fantastic. Everyone was impressed with the light show in the arrival area, the lobby spectacle and even in the lift. The food, service and the views were all superb. The only dampener was having to queue at reception for 25 minutes to pay the parking fee. It was 2 pm check in time but surely there is a better system than that.
Great service. Beautiful view and ambiance. excellent food.
The service was fantastic however a tad slow. Food was not at all good enough for the standard of the emporium. The eggs were undercooked (whites were barely cooked) the hollandaise sauce tasted like butter. The jam was plain simple just forgotten and no knifes. The atmosphere is very nice. And the display/ cleanliness is superb. Basically, go for the atmosphere not the food.
Waited 30 mins for first drinks.
After 20 mins they checked drinks order.
Drinks served were wrong
Waited an hour for food.
Same issues as last time.
Good food, service and location
Very nice vibe, would definitely come back!!
We had a small family celebration there as a special treat. While it was a great atmosphere and outlook, the food was very disappointing and definitely overpriced for what you got - mains in particular. I ordered the lemongrass coconut chicken and it was literally a leg of chicken, looking fancy served on a piece of bark. That’s it. For $28. Others ordered the black Angus steak with sugar snap peas, which was tiny - $38.
Recommending, but for drinks and the glitzy view only - or if you’re starving, maybe share plates rather than mains.
The atmosphere was really great and we enjoyed the food and the view.
The service was so poor, we had set menu and I had a birthday cake with candles, no one asked how did we go, no one checks table. Even the course we had to keep asking if they could bring the next course and then they took all the folks and spoons🤪🤪🤪. When they brought the cake, they sang the song so shy, i mean this is a high quality restaurant but how come the service is so poor and just not good enough
A perfect spot for a romantic dinner or girls catch up
Our waiter provided fantastic service. Even though there was a slight mix up with our order, it was quickly rectified and we were very pleased and impressed with the politeness and courtesy we received throughout our whole dining experience. Great job!
Great in every way but a limited menu if you are vegan or vegetarian or don’t like seafood. What we ate was delicious but we had to carefully navigate the menu to find items that satisfied these particular dietary requirements.
The lemon lime and bitters was flat
Great ambience and friendly staff, lovely lighting and comfortable seating. A great vibe and awesome city views.
Amazing atmosphere, views and artistic design, definitely worth repeat visits!
The view is great. There’s a stack of people up there so you can’t see anything unless you go out of your way to look. Cocktails were nice. Main meals were expensive and awful. Snacks menu was ok. My main was the most tasteless, greasy brisket I’ve ever tasted. 6 tiny pieces of brisket with deep fried bao buns. It was vile. Staff were attentive. There’s 50 nicer restaurants in the surrounding area. Just go up for a quick drink and a view then go somewhere else for a decent meal.
Service was very poor. We waiting for approx 10 mins to get in the door and to our table. There seemed to be plenty of staff walking around and behind the bar but it took 15 mins for our order to be taken and another 15 mins for our two over priced cocktails to come out. The staff were nice and friendly but it didn’t feel well managed
Beautiful location but didn’t feel as luxurious as I would have expected
Everything about my visit here was amazing. The staff were fantastic, the food was delicious and the drinks were so yummy. The wait staff made sure we had the best night and the Manager aswell went out of his way to serve everyone. Such a great night.
The food was ok, but for the price it was very underwhelming (and I’m not talking about the portion size). Otherwise great venue and great service.
Not a dinner restaurant.
Despite having a booking for 2 for over a week a table was not prepared for us and we were sat at a 4top table.
We were deserted for over 20 minutes without water or a drinks order taken.
When the food arrived it was undercooked and neither my wife nor I finished our meals.
When the emporium restaurant is closed, eat out.
Amazing service, friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommend!
Food was delicious, cocktails were delicious but service was shocking. I was more than willing to spend $300+ however I sat with empty drinks for 40 minutes and no waiters to be seen. I asked a waiter to come over, told me 1 minute and never came over. Our first cocktails and were forgotten about, as was our food. Stunning venue and excellent presentation, however I really wish the waiters were a bit more consistent with checking on our table. I’d definitely love to come back given this was the case.
We thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the service and our total experience. Just one thing my friend was served a coffee latte in a glass and nearly dropped it it was so hot. Could there be something other than a glass or at least something around the glass?
Obnoxious loud party of 2 tables with approximately 12 people who were quite obviously completely intoxicated. They broke glasses and were so loud everyone in the bar were quite aware of their presence. The bar staff continued to serve them alcohol even though they were so drunk they were almost incapable of walking. And the bar staff laughed about it. NO RESPONSIBLE SERVING OF ALCOHOL IN THIS PLACE.
This totally spoilt the whole evening and have no intention of returning with this type of action being acceptable.
Except for the food, everything was absolutely great!
Great view. Staff very helpful. Drinks and snacks the best
The Terrace is a beautiful venue with lovely service however I was very disappointed with the quality of food. I would recommend coming here for drinks only.
Was my daughters 18th asked for something special and got nothing. Service not very good. Food ok but not worth the money. Very expensive for what it was
Lunch/Dinner Menu was very limited and food was poor.
Loved everything about The Terrace. The view, the ambience, the food, the cocktails and most notably the service. The young gentlemen that looked after us at our table was amazing. Can’t wait to go back.
Great way to start the day and welcome visitors to Brisbane.
Good atmosphere and view, delicious dish but quantity is disappointing
Lots of staff behind the bar, unfortunately not enough staff helping to serve.
Excellent value great service perfect breakfast location views of Brisbane. The staff were professional and it felt like a very high quality experience with
The food was terrible. Lucky the ambiance is very special because we wouldn’t go back for the food
The late Christmas Day breakfast at The Terrace was exceptionally pleasant. In particular the service was very attentive and accommodating, made even more worthy of note given that the staff were faced with the set-up for Christmas Day lunch, but we were never felt rushed. The breakfast menu has a wide range of choices, (the delicious eggs deserve a special mention), and represents good value in a very pleasant setting with an amazing backdrop of the river and city. This was our second visit for breakfast, the first being as hotel guests, this time as non-residents. Will definitely be back.
beautiful views, nice food, good service especially on such a busy day
This is a great place for a drink and ordering bar snacks. The calamari was great. The main menu was overpriced with quite small servings even for someone like me who doesn't eat large portions. The mains are served with rice which did help us to feel less hungry. Our duck was over-cooked and tough so wasn't eaten. I would return for a drink but I wouldn't choose to eat dinner here again.
Meals were superb but found menu a bit limited in choice. Loved the decor and atmosphere as well as the views.
Food was terrible. Ordered a duck salad and received two small pieces of fatty duck with a coleslaw 'garnish'. Shocking.
Dinner at The Terrace has been great on all occasions, with good service, preparation, delivery of meals and the meals overall have been wonderful. I would definitely recommend dinner there. Nice atmosphere and views as well.
The only letdown was they couldn't serve our favourite cocktail as they were out of coconut, which wasn't a big deal. With Woolworths a 5 minute walk away, maybe this could have been easily fixed.
However, I wouldn't recommend the breakfast. Service was not so great, got our order wrong or incomplete at least three times in the one sitting, and the presentation was nothing special. Ordered two coffees when we first arrived, which took over 35 minutes, with the wrong coffee presented, and never received the second coffee at all. Very hard to get a glass of water as well. Maybe best to take your own.
Definitely experience the dinner, but maybe consider breakfast somewhere else.
