Wow, I rarely, if ever write reviews, but this experience deserves a solid 5 star review. I didn't realize when I booked this that the Maybourne Hotel is the old Montage, and I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived.
I've eaten at a ton of places during Covid, but this place blew them all away. Unfortunately, even outdoor dining is getting ready to be banned in LA, but I'm so happy I got to eat here before the shutdown.
The patio dining had heaters (it was a chilly 58 degrees), there were beautiful Christmas lights, and the setting was private yet other diners were obviously present.
The food was fantastic, the squash with black truffle was amazing (best starter I've had in years), so were the prawns, and my filet was cooked perfectly.
The service is what really took this to another level. The host was great, and Tony our server treated us like he owned the place and we were royalty or restaurant critics.
The whole experience was perfect. Can't wait to go back as soon as we get out from under this police state.

Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere. I ordered the branzino which came with oven roasted cherry tomatoes....at was delicious ! I will definitely come back and probably make it the place to go for a great lunch , since i am local and spend all my time in BH !

It is shame there’s a 3 week lockdown with LA County during the holidays. This restaurant had antibacterial gel automatically dispensed at every table and even has mobile menus and payment methods. They did everything right with spacing and heat lamps and the food was good. Hope they can open back up soon!

We ordered the pancakes, the muesli, the salmon, and a scrambled egg toast. Everything we ordered tasted better than expected, even the coffee. The prices seemed high at first, but in the end it was worth the price.

Not the luxury experience we were hoping for. We had a reservation at 8:30 and wasn’t seated until 9:15. Even when we were seated it was on the corner of the terrace without any lighting or heat lamps near the kitchen. It felt like an added table they just put together since we were waiting so long. Only the host apologized, but told us we would “be fine”. Service was okay, not great. Food was good but wasn’t amazing. I wouldn’t go back or have high expectations. I felt like we did not get what we paid for or hoped for.

The staff works very hard to make you comfortable. It is clean, they take temperatures and the food is very good. But the staff make it a great experience.

Service very slow. Not enough staff. Hardly any heaters had propane and it was cold. Ordered soup at 12:30 but was told it wasn't ready yet. We finally got it after eating a salad, 45 minutes later. Will not go back.

It was cold the night we had a wonderful dinner at the Terrace. Of course because of Covid, we were outside. The staff did an amazing job of maneuvering heaters around us to keep us warm. Thank you all!

Wow, just wow!
My wife and I eloped today and we decided to have our celebratory meal at the Terrace! They were awesome! They made the day so special. Let’s not forget the food! The food was outstanding. Everything was on point and quite honestly, one of the best steaks I’ve had in a long time.

Very nice looking place..perfect for romantic dinners. The food, however, was just okay, and the plates are small considering how expensive they are.

We were warmly greeted and given an awesome table. The server staff could not have been more genuinely nice... the food was delicious - although in hindsight my fries weren't quite hot enough but the burger was delicious. Really enjoyed the meal and so comfortable. Oscar Chinchilla (I think Oscar is is first name) was so nice and professional - made us all feel special. THank you.

Went here on Sunday with my boyfriend for a cute brunch moment. The service was really great! The hostess was quick and very kind. We had a really funny server named Eddie who was great at helping us pick our food choices and drinks, def coming back to see him. The bussers checked on us and the Manager popped by too. Also the food is DELICIOUS!!! 10 out of 10!

Our experience was wonderful. The food was great! Beautiful ambience. The service was outstanding. Attention to detail was all there. Noise level was perfect. We could actually hear each other comfortably without having to fight over the music.
