The Terrace at EDITION and Outdoor Gardens
Very good overall, I must say the Host working that night was outstanding!!! Shout out to him! Unfortunately I didnt get his name.
Solid dining experience but the service is what made the meal. My friend dropped a little sauce on her top, and I kid you not, within 10 seconds someone was our table with a wet wipe. My friend hadn’t even noticed there was food on her shirt yet. Super compassionate and attentive wait staff. Would definitely come again.
I have had many excellent meals at The Edition. Sadly, this was not one of them. Stay away from the kale salad. The kale was not properly prepared.
This is an absolutely beautiful setting with excellent food, well located on Times Square, yet above the hubbub.
It was a nice oasis in Times Square
Absolutely LOVE the place and we will be back soon!
This was one of the best NYC restaurants I’ve been to. Not only was the atmosphere beautiful, the food and service were outstanding. The flavors were remarkable. Loved their mocktail The Teton. A truly wonderful experience.
My new favorite restaurant in NYC! It's so rare to find stunning ambience, delicious food and impeccable service all in the same spot. (ESPECIALLY in Times Square.) The Terrace exceeds all expectations. And goes above and beyond — creating a custom birthday cake for our special guest. THANK YOU! We'll be back often.
A garden oasis in the midst of Times Square. Go for the terraced gardens. Stay for the delicious food. The broccoli frittata easily feeds two and it is delicious. The food is high end, as is the service (and the prices). Wonderful experience.
Wonderful addition to the theatre district dining. Yes there is a reason to go to Times Square other than for a selfie with Elmo. Gorgeous space with creative modern menu. Wine list interesting with only New World offerings, but still good range. Good for a date night or with friends.
My only comment is that I ordered my steak rare and it came out medium. Still a great steak though and strongly recommend this restaurant.
It was my second time here.
The place is really big and spacious.
Fun new restaurant in a weird location. Great rooftop and great food.
Excellent food and ambiance...
Fabulous restaurant with amazing food, drinks and service. They got us out in time for our curtain. We will go back the next time we’re in New York!
First off the service was very very good. We originally sat outside where it was very quite but brutally hot so we moved indoors. They were extremely accommodating. Inside the atmosphere is not as nice and the music was a little louder than I would have liked but not obnoxious.
The food was average and we had two appetizers and a main dish, which were both very small. I don’t know if I would go back but it was a better option than most of the tourist traps in time square. The bar also looked really nice though we were in a bit of a hurry so we did not stay for an after dinner drink.
Great experience, waiter was hard to understand and hear! Overall pretty awesome!
The food was amazing and the services as well.
This is my second time and I love everything I tried.
Loved the atmosphere, especially in the covered outside area. Food presentation and flavors were great, as were the cocktails - my burger wasn't anything special, but all the other food we got was great.
On the pricey side, but knew that going in. Staff very attentive to fact that needed be out for a show.
Service was terrible
Service was very bad...
Charged $12 for one over medium egg. Worst server I've had in a long time. Undercooked burger twice the night before. Don't eat here
Beautifully decorated and well staffed. Nice menu and good food. Spectacular views of Times Square from the open rooftop garden.
Amazing — well done Edition Team
Would recommend for a drink and appetizer only. Atmosphere very nice, and think garden would be delightful if not hot outside.
Exceptional in every way.
I went to dinner with my 88 year old grandmother who is hard of hearing. She had many questions and comments to make throughout the meal but our waitress could not have been any nicer and helpful.
I came here for brunch with a friend of mine and we had an amazing time. The restaurant had a great ambiance, clean, quiet, and perfect for conversation. The food/drinks were also great, I had the eggs Benedict and a Jamaican rum cocktail. I think the best part was how nice and accommodating the staff were! Everyone we interacted with from the doorman to the hostess to the servers, had a pleasant and welcoming attitude. I will definitely be back.
Brunch prior to matinee on Broadway. Excellent food and presentation. Disappointed it was too warm to sit in the “outdoor” area but it is still an oasis!
Outstanding setting and ambience. Took my wife here for her birthday and amazing rooms in the heart of Times Square. Our server Mostafa was excellent and very attentive with a great personality. Food was delicious, crab pasta was one of the best i’ve had and shrimp stuffed shishitos were unique and very tasty. Would recommend overall, great for a date with a romantic setting.
Amazing atmosphere and food was also decent. However, service was extremely disappointing - though not busy at all, waited so long for everything and no apologies. Waited 20+ minutes for beverage, waited so long for a check and to be checked out. Hoping that we caught them on a bad day. Would have recommended this place to group of friends if service wasn’t below average.
Two hamburgers were order medium rare. Came out well down. Fries cold. Runners mistake. Management was right on it.
A perfect place to celebrate our 30th Anniversary..the service and food were great. Thank you for the great experience...AGAIN
It was a nice evening. Service was veery slow so I am glad we left a lot of time. The drinks were very expensive for very simple things. $18 for a glass of wine is too much. And the chocolate soufflé wasn’t worth it. We had a nice time, but it was obvious that they expected us to to be from Ohio and not 38th Street, it was an incredibly expensive dinner that wasn’t really worth it.
Took us 30 minutes to get coffee and over 20 minutes for someone to take our order. It was a business breakfast and it made it nearly impossible for us to focus because of the service. Disappointed
Enjoyed the wonderful appetizers and snack menu. Plus the mocktails
Loved it!! Will be back again!!
Excellent all around. Period.
The Answer: Yes. The Question: Is there Fine Dining in Times Square? It's been a while coming (Sure, there's Restaurant Row, but much of that has become touristy.) While service was just a bit disjointed, The Terrace is a spot that will please most serious foodies. We have already recommended it to friends and we will return.
