The Terrace is Chef John Fraser's American brasserie located in The Times Square EDITION. From theatergoers and power meetings to dinner parties and big brunches, our all-seasons garden restaurant offers an unexpected oasis for locals and tourists alike, nestled just steps away from New York City's most iconic intersection. The seasonal menu marries the innovation of contemporary cooking with a respect for American culinary traditions, all while emphasizing locally sourced ingredients from regional farmers and purveyors. Brasserie classics share space with a wide variety of vegetable-forward offerings, a signature cooking style of Chef Fraser's.

We are located on the 9th floor of The Times Square EDITION, entrance on the north side of 47th Street just east of 7th Avenue.

It was fantastic! Grilled octopus for appie was the very best, we order this all the time everywhere we go, hands down it has topped every restaurant NY and Hawaii. We also ordered the tuna carpaccio, outstanding as-well. In fact everything we had was great! The lamb stuffed Ravioli’s, stuffed shells and seafood tagliatelle. Can’t wait to go back.

The food was just ok. It was not worth the price. The place itself has a nice atmosphere. It was just expensive for the food quality.

It was a 30 minute wait to get the ordered breakfast served, and then the food was lukewarm. Not what you'd expect given those prices (fresh orange juicer for $13) and the service "excellency" the staff was telling us about.

Little disappointed that it wasn't clear on the website before making our reservation that brunch would not be served until later and we could not sit on the terrace.

Atmosphere was pretty food was good not great. Fries cold steak cold had to take it back and ask for a hot steak.

Beautiful garden restaurant. Ambiance is excellent. We did the express lunch and food was outstanding. Service was very slow. Would return for another lunch there before theater.

Since our reservation was for Sunday at 11:45, the menu contained mostly breakfast brunch items. However the entree salad and the omelet were excellent. The tiramisu and the grand mariner were excellent as well. The food was overpriced. The only real downside was the service. The waitress was unattractive.
