   This is the second time I have taken family members to the Tea Lady to celebrate birthdays, and both times it was really special and fun. This time my 15-year-old niece was completely amazed by everything: the exquisite table settings, Renea's incredible voice singing "Happy Birthday," the delicious food, the feeling of being totally pampered. Leaah is not a salad lover, and she even ate some of the beautiful and scrumptious salad. It was a total delight! I have to mention the scones. So often they are dry and crumbly. Renea's are anything but that. They were packed with plump blueberries and had a rich, buttery flavor. And they were moist, not crumbly. Just delicious! Having afternoon tea with Renea is an experience not to be missed. It's my new favorite way to celebrate special occasions with friends and family.

   This was a soft opening so I give them some grace. That said, we should have been made aware that they weren’t fully moved into their new space as it wasn’t the experience I expected based on website photos. Staff and owner were extremely friendly. A second pot of hot tea would have been nice since our refills were luke warm at best.

   We took my grandma for breakfast tea, and it was amazing! Complete with a birthday serenade from the tea lady herself! We plan to go back for a high tea service very soon!

   I went with my wife to celebrate her birthday. The experience was what you’d expect in a high tea type establishment. The food was good. Service was good but leisurely. The experience is better if you are with other friends or family The ambiance wasn’t great. This is a temporary location since their new place is under construction. The outside doesn’t look good but inside was good. The owner assured us that the new one would be one of the best you can think of. Looking forward to it.

   This was truly a first-class experience! Was impressed immediately upon entering the room. From the elegant table settings to the delicious tea and food to the professionalism of the owner/host and servers. Definitely worth the distance traveled and the afternoon spent.

   My mom and I had a fabulous time. The food was great. And the service was above and beyond. My mom was treated like a princess. Only wish they had clotted cream! Yum we will be back

    Our family was celebrating Christmas with a “formal flair.” Glad to have found the Tea Lady as an experience through the Open Table app. The ambiance was so nice! The food - tea, salad, tea sandwiches & pastries - were wonderful! I wouldn’t have known what to expect from “tea time” or a tea party. So worth it!

    My husband & I had our wedding reception (high tea) at The Tea Lady. We got married at the Hower House in vintage style clothes, and our guests had fun dressing the part with tea party hats for the reception. The service & food were excellent. The fruit & vegetable salads were so generous, we were stuffed before the tiers of savory sandwiches & sweets came! It was absolutely delicious & as a very sensitive gluten-free person, I did not get sick off the amazing bread in the savory sandwiches or the fudgey gluten-free brownies. (It was hands down the best gluten-free bread I have EVER eaten.) My vegan & regular guests said their food was excellent too. (The chicken-less chicken salad sandwiches were amazing.) Reneé has a lovely selection of teas to choose from & you can purchase teas and beautiful cups & saucer sets in her shop too. My husband bought a tin of the “Wedding Tea” and when we got it home, we discovered it is the most unusual & delicious naturally flavored white tea. It’s a lovely souvenir of the day. Our meal was a very memorable, and I highly recommend The Tea Lady for anyone looking for a unique & special experience.

    The tea lady and her staff were so welcoming. The parfait, the salad, the sandwiches, scones and others desserts were delicious. I drove from Cleveland, with my daughter, for her 15th bday. She loves a good tea experience and this one did not disappoint!

    Renea was such an incredible hostess. She was so accommodating, even when our party changed several times and got crazy! The bride said it was one of the most fun things she has ever done, and our whole party enjoyed ourselves so much.

    High Tea at/with the Tea Lady was exceptional today! The table was set with attention to detail. We were seated in a small, lovely room. Service was appropriate for a leisurely luncheon with friends. The food was absolutely delicious. Chicken salad, roast beef on a croissant, cucumber sandwich, scones, fall green salad, fruit cup and sweets. All excellent! Wonderful choices of fine teas. We will be back!     It was a wonderful experience. My mom was visiting from out of town and has always had a love of tea so when I saw this place I knew I had to take her here. It has been a magnificent experience and we will have to come back. Amazing food and wonderful service. And of course some of the best tea I’ve had in a long time.

    The tea lady is charming. The space is lovely, there is attention to detail everywhere you look. The staff is fantastic, they are prompt and courteous allowing you time to chat with friends while serving delicious course after course.     We all arrived on time and found the tables were already set for us. It was an elegant environment and each course was served slowly which gave us the time to relax and converse. The food was delicious. The Tea Lady (Renee) was very accommodating.

    The table setting, the flowers, the decor were all very formal and pretty. The parfait, the very generous salad, and the tiered tray of sandwiches, scones, and desserts were fabulous. The only problem was it took over two hours with two little girls who were restless and full of tea and sugar cubes.

    No review is going to do the Tea Lady justice. The environment was warm, welcoming, quiet, and intimate all at the same time. I and my partner were the only people in the place for morning tea on the 13th for my birthday and the people working there were absolutely amazing. The service was wonderful, the tea was amazing, and the food was superb. How this place hasn't absolutely taken off yet is beyond me. I LOVE going to tea time and this was a better experience than any tea shop I have visited in Ohio, all for an extremely affordable price. If you don't visit, you are 1000% missing out. I will be going back frequently because they have me absolutely sold on my loyalty to their tea time.

    Lady Woods-Baylor was a most gracious hostess. The tea room was a lovely experience. The ambience was beautiful and the food was absolutely delicious.     Owner was sole person attending the place. The locale has no store front. It’s on the 2 floor of an office building. The owner wasn’t friendly but overbearing and the price excessive.

    Quite the enjoyable experience...beautiful table setting, delicious food, excellent tea. Be prepared for a small sales pitch when you're done, however, no pressure.
