We welcome guests into the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Tavern at the Kennebunk Inn. The Tavern is located in the heart of Kennebunk Village. We've created a menu featuring both signature dishes and Tavern favorites. The dining room features a double sided fireplace, gleaming old birch wood floors, and new lighting. In the bar, you can share a signature cocktail with friends or try one of our beers on tap, many from local breweries. Pull up a chair at the bar, or one of our high top tables and order from the full restaurant menu. In the warmer months, our patio offers outdoor seating and on occasion, live music. The Inn and Tavern are open year round, and our chef creates specials and seasonal menus that often feature seafood and produce from local farms and the sea.

Nice spot, centrally located in Kennebunk. Good menu selection, reasonable prices, excellent quality food and drinks. We enjoyed the lobster gnocchi and the meatloaf. Will definitely be back to try more of the selections.

Great food, had a good time. Downside: restaurant was about half to 3/4 full and very noisy. Management needs to figure out how to deaden noise.

when i booked there were very few slots available so we had to take a 545. But during the time we we were there, there were several open tables...

This was actually the worse experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. But I do want to say that our waitress was wonderful. And the food was pretty good. However the noise level was atrocious. First we were sat in a big open room with tables, that was so loud we couldn’t talk to each other. We asked to move to the bar area. Which was better, but still loud. There is nothing to absorb sound anywhere. Before our food showed up the bar became so packed that we couldn’t even hear across the table without yelling. And we couldn’t stand up and get away from our own table. The manager and bar tender did nothing to control the issue. We were charged full price after moving twice. I felt terrible for our waitress who obviously felt bad about the situation.

Wonderful experience at the Inn. Great food, innovative drinks and friendly waitstaff. Convenient location and even rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy an evening beverage. Beautiful. Would definitely go again.

The hostess was rude about seating us, it took nearly 20 mins to get a server to greet us and bring water, and the food was mediocre. It’s an option if you are on that side of Kennebunk, but if given the choice, the options closer to the water are far superior.
