We welcome guests into the warm and inviting atmosphere of the Tavern at the Kennebunk Inn. The Tavern is located in the heart of Kennebunk Village. We've created a menu featuring both signature dishes and Tavern favorites. The dining room features a double sided fireplace, gleaming old birch wood floors, and new lighting. In the bar, you can share a signature cocktail with friends or try one of our beers on tap, many from local breweries. Pull up a chair at the bar, or one of our high top tables and order from the full restaurant menu. In the warmer months, our patio offers outdoor seating and on occasion, live music. The Inn and Tavern are open year round, and our chef creates specials and seasonal menus that often feature seafood and produce from local farms and the sea.

Short staffed but understandable........Fish and Chips way over done and tough. Asparagus on other dish was a pile of soggy green mush! C'mon, guys, you've done better and can do better !

This place is like an old pair of favorite slippers. Like many, we've been going there since before any of the present workers were born. Good food, and good live music early on a random Thursday night made sitting by the fireplace an inviting evening. Wish they'd paint the main dining room, as white walls do nothing for ambiance, but that's a petty gripe. Well served by Megan, it was a wonderful night out.

Salmon pinwheel poor at best. Salmon & asparagus way overcooked. Pureed squash way too sugary sweet. Baked haddock green beans & mashed potatoes fair to good. Draft beer icy cold. Basil squared cocktail excellent. Warm bread very good. Ambience totally lacking. Felt like we were dining in a baren gymnasium. Lights too bright. Nothing g onwood floors but scattered dining tables. Yuk!

My wife and I celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary here and were very happy with everything! The entire experience from reservation and overall ambiance to the excellent food, friendly service and wonderful entertainment was top-shelf! We would recommend this establishment for any special occasion or just a night out for dinner! We will definitely be returning multiple times in the future!

No Bartender when we got there . The waitress, Maryjane was able to whip up delicious drinks and in no time.! I hope I remembered her name correctly. She was friendly, pleasant and with a wonderful sense of humor. The timing of the food was perfect. We enjoyed our meals and found the food delicious and perfectly cooked. We will return. I will say we were disappointed that we could not use our $100 gift card. We thought they never expired? :(
