Lovely drink and some nibbles on a Saturday evening. Very knowledgable and attentive staff.
Lovely staff, food was great! The selection of cheeses and meats created a lovely tasting experience.
Excellent afternoon lunch for Birthday treat. Very knowledgable and supportive staff and very comfortable surroundings
First day back after lockdown - had a lovely brunch out on the new dining platform. Service was outstanding - very friendly and attentive; some of the best coffee I have ever tasted and lots of lovely Vegan options. Would have loved if there could have been heaters as it had been snowing but I understand blankets are arriving and hopefully summer soon!
Brilliant wine, cocktails and food. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and toilets and restaurant clean. We had a very enjoyable and lovely evening, will go there again sometime.
Very enjoyable evening! Great food and lovely wine
Love this place. Food, drink and staff all amazing! 10/10
If you like wine, you’ll love it here. If you want to learn about wine, you’ll also love it.
Excellent Service and great atmosphere
Delicious food and great service
Amazing wine
Amazing choice of wines, delivered by knowledgable staff.
Lovely selection of meats and cheese to compliment the lovely wines.
Perfect for a quiet civilised meal .
Very knowledgable and friendly staff. Decent selection of wines with some interesting varieties.
Unfortunately I did not dine at Tasting Rooms and could not move on with the review without completing the question about the food. However based on the comments from friends who have eaten there I have given 4 stars.
A great place to meet and talk with friends in a calm and relaxed atmosphere. A wide selection of wines from all around the world.
An enjoyable night out. All the staff are knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I recommend The Tasting Rooms as it is a friendly, comfortable place to eat and drink and nearly all the food is sourced locally.
Great venue. Staff attentive but not too much. All the food and drink was spot on. Been several times. Always spot on. Well done all.
Just a nice little catch up over a couple of glasses of wine and nibbles!
We only had a couple of cheese boards between us, but they were delicious and came with lots of bread and a selection of crackers. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and we enjoyed their recommendations of a local sparkling wine and their ‘number 14’ cocktail. We will certainly be going back for more.
Sam the waitor was absolutely fantastic. Gave great insight to the wines and was very accommodating on allowing samples before purchase so to ensure we really enjoyed a quality wine.
A nice change from the usual meal out. Enjoyed tasting a variety of wines (buying a flight gives you 3 x 75ml for £15 - bought a few to share with partner). Cheese and meat boards excellent quality.
Great as always nice Unusual spirits & wines to try
Lovely evening on Friday with great wine selection, good food and happy cheerful staff even when they were really busy. Thank you
The chocolate Truffles and Red Wine are to die for. The staff were very knowledgeable and friendly will certainly be returning very soon.
Fun Evening, let down by slow service due to apparent understaffing and probably busy due to Eat Out to Help Out.
I have been a couple of times with a friend and really enjoyed the food, wine and service. The staff were very polite and knowledgeable of the wines. I took my husband this week and he really enjoyed the experience. We will definitely go back.
Mixed cheese & charcuterie board very poor. Tuff meat & very little taste to cheese in tiny pieces. Our second time experiencing this but thought we would give them another try during Eat out to help Out.
Once we were given our order no one came back to our table all night. We wanted more wine & bread but we were never again approached. Trying to get someone's attention was near impossible. When I did say an excuse me to the person who first served us, he said in a minute and walked off and never came back. So we had to finish our board without wine and bread. Terrible service. Our third and very last time going there, things haven't changed unfortunately. It would have such a lot going for it, if only they paid attention to there customers. It's just what the town needs and we were so excited when it opened but been constantly disappointed. We went to the restaurant next door to finish our evening and the service was excellent.
I wish them luck, we don't want another place to close down, but won't be going back or recommending it unfortunately.
Amazing personal service. Food was delicious, the wine selection unusual and not run of the mill. Homemade Limoncello the best way to end a meal.
French Night at the Tasting Rooms was great. Good selection of tapas style dishes. Lovely staff and a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
Never been before, so thought we would try it out. Book online for a 7pm table, got seated and given the menu, waiting at least 10 minutes for our drinks order to be taken, then ordered our food only to be told that the main course would not be ready until 8.30pm, so we just ordered a few starter antipasti dishes, which was lovely, but spoilt the evening, as we were not made aware that booking a table for 7pm would have an 1.5hour wait for main food. We eat our tapas, then waited for a while to pay the bill, I decided to go inside and ask for the bill, which was brought out to me on,y to be told I had to go back inside to pay as the machine would not work outside.
Great summer evening out. Loved it. Can’t wait to go again!
We went for drinks on Friday evening and sat out on the terrace. Amazing knowledge of all the gins from the waiter. Such a great addition to the town
Food and drinks were great. The only thing that spoiled it slightly was that the restaurant next door had live music that wasn’t to our taste
Go there if you want decent wine. Don't go there if you're hungry. The paella portion was tiny and not very flavoursome. A shame really as the staff were great and the place itself very nicely decorated.
We were seated quickly and the waiter was friendly. I had a Crushed Mojito cocktail which was delicious and I have made plans to return again in the near future.
Very knowledgeable staff and some great wines. You can stick with the well chosen house wines, or go for something a little special. Plenty of assistance there if required, but you won’t be pestered.
The sharing platters are delicious too, with local Sussex produce.
Wonderful night at The Tasting Rooms on last Saturday evening. Great to see it busy but not too busy with appropriate social distancing in these current times! They have an excellent selection on the cheese board - highly recommend.
Super attentive service, with knowledgeable options on wine to suit overdoes budget and taste.
Love it!
Wonderful finding, which we decided to try after having read good reviews.
The staff is really helpful and has a wine tasting offer which makes you try lots of different wines before opting for your favourite one
Good atmosphere and the charcuterie plates also well paired with the wines.
Highly recommended!
Lovely new venue in Grinny, great wines and ambience and friendly staff 👍
Fantastic addition to our town. Friendly, knowledgeable staff and a great ambiance.
First visit. Great welcome and explanation of how it works. Good choice of wine. Had the cheese platter which was delicious but took a long time to arrive; they did explain the kitchen was busy. Worth booking ahead.
Great venue for a night out-makes it more of an event as you get to hear about the wines and try before buying a bottle -staff excellent and very knowledgable. Nibbles way too expensive and not that good which is a shame-only downside!
