The Tartan Fox by Adam Handling

Welcome to our British restaurant and pub, with gardens, in the picturesque countryside of Cornwall, between Truro and Newquay. We offer sustainable British pub food, with a luxury approach. It’s a simple offering but really showcases the best of produce from in and around Cornwall. Our Sunday lunch is perfect to come and enjoy with your friends and family (and your dogs are more than welcome too!).

    Our second visit to The Tartan Fox and it did not disappoint. Our service was friendly and knowledgeable from all of the team and the food was outstanding, definitely worth leaving room for dessert, gorgeous custard tart! The restaurant was not too busy but still a lively and energised atmosphere with music and general ambience. A definite 'must' to visit on every Cornwall trip.

    It was our first visit but definitely not our last. The food was delicious and the service was amazing. A little bit pricey but for the quality of the food well worth it. Would highly recommend.

    overall an enjoyable evening albeit my sense is the quality of offering has dropped off since it opened when we had 2 or 3 excellent evenings. It felt like the restaurant was understaffed

    After our friends recommended the Tartan fox on numerous occasions we finally got to enjoy a fantastic experience. First class service and outstanding food. Can’t wait to return. Thanks to the team.

    Surprising place for a very nice and good Restaurant. You have to search it, if you want to find it... But really nice experience, with very good food, and a warm welcome. We can recommend it without any doubt.
