   Pub was very quiet.... so little or no real ambience. Good range of drinks. Lovely outside seating area I was unaware of.

   Lovely atmosphere and overall ambience. Fantastic location. Food was great and reasonably priced. I would definitely go again and/or recommend it.

   The food was very nice and hot there was quiet a wait in between starters and mains but it was worth the wait puddings were quiet quick.The surroundings were very nice if I had to moan about anything it was the fact I booked through the central booking office and I had conformation back for 1900 hrs. On Sunday evening we arrived to be told our booking was 1930hrs. So they put us right by the kitchen and every time any one came through the entrance door we got a blast of cold air on our legs.

   Warm welcome from friendly staff, good menu choices, generous portions, greta taste. And a good range of beers.

   We took our puppy with us, the staff were lovely and helpful and couldn't have made us feel more welcome. Delicious food and ambience x

   Very friendly service. Comfortable setting for a meal. 3 of our 4 meals were beautifully served , very appertising and excellent value. However the ham, eggs and chips appeared to have been put on the plate without any thought, it looked bland and unappetizing. It was well below the expected standard.

   The pub is lovely and staff are very welcoming but our Sunday meal was luke warm and the beef very tough Pudding was lovely Will go again and hope the food is hot next time

   Really nice food and atmosphere. Would have been 5/5 if service was a little better/faster for ordering. Saying that they were training new staff from what I could see.

    Great pub. Loads to choose from.Went with husband had the shared platter for starters. Fillet steak was amazing and the sherry triffle best I have ever tasted. Great friendly service . Great for any occasion
