The Wensleydale Hotel & Tack Room Restaurant is ideally located on the Market Place of the town of Middleham.
Booking for Dinner or Sunday Lunch is essential.

We welcome dogs in the Bar or in our Private Dining Room, which can accommodate up to 16 on one table.

Excellent food, well presented. The level of service was good and the dining room has well spaced tables so the conversation of other diners was not intrusive

We visited here for my husband’s birthday. The service was excellent as was all the food. We thoroughly enjoyed it and would love to return, thank you.

Good quality food, well prepared and perfectly presented with good service which was not hurried. The surroundings were clean and welcoming, and the staff were lovely. The restaurant was fairly quiet for a Saturday night, which contributed to a slight lack of atmosphere, however that certainly wouldn’t stop us visiting again!

A gem of a place! A good and varied menu, food perfectly cooked and presented. Welcoming host and very well trained staff. Exceptional!

Fantastic service, lovely friendly staff. Delicious Sunday lunch. Doggy friendly. Family run. Totally recommend visiting, eating and partaking in a pint of Black Sheep. A hidden gem xx

Fabulously cooked, excellent quality food and friendly attentive service, very welcoming. Dog friendly in the bar area a big plus.
