   LOVED this cozy, comfortable spot! The food, drinks, service, and entire vibe is fantastic! My husband and I shared the homemade burrata appetizer; it was wonderful! Creamy and plentiful with just the right amount of arugula, tomato, yummy basil pesto and balsamic vinaigrette drizzle, (the accompanying fresh, warm garlic bread was an added plus!) For entree, I had the Fall Vegetable & Butternut Squash Risotto with Grilled Salmon - it arrived plentiful, fresh, cooked perfectly and presented beautifully! My husband had the Braise Short Ribs which came over mashed potatoes with try-colored carrots and a fabulous red wine root vegetable sauce; he LOVED it! For dessert he had the Downtown Bread Pudding with vanilla bean ice cream (it is normally served with dulche de leche ice cream topped with a salted caramel sauce - but my hubs is not a caramel fan); I am not a dessert eater, but had a spoonful - and it was FABULOUS!! Next time I am saving room for dessert and ordering this (and I AM a caramel fan!). I noted they have many vegetarian and gluten free options as well. The staff was friendly, fast - but not rushing - and accommodating. This place is owned and operated by Dan Latham who ran The Latham House (downtown JCIty) for a few years. We LOVED that place - so it's no surprise The Table is also above and beyond! Oh - and it has parking across the street!! (they validate on week nights ... weekend parking is always free!)....We look forward to returning to try their handmade pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, bar bites on those not so hungry nights, and their weekend brunch menu looks yummy as well!!

   Delicious food and drinks. Warm hospitality. And they acknowledged our special occasion. I’m a big fan of this place and we’ll be back.

   They do not have much to offer during the brunch menu, none of the apps are available during the brunch except wings, nachos and some other appetizer i didn’t want . They don’t give a physical menu which is so annoying. They did not bring out my surprise dessert after i requested it for my boyfriend on my reservation and with the host. They took forever to come back to the table to get another drink or ask for something (still tipped 20 percent mostly bc at least the server was able to get me an espresso marrinit) They had to get permission to make an espresso martini during brunch hours it’s not offered during brunch. They also do not offer the full cocktail list during brunch hours just the mimosas or bloody marrys (what if i don’t like wine and a large chunk of individuals don’t like bloody marrys why is that my options) it is just a dumb rule. There is free parking and portions size for entree are big.

   We had the chicken dumplings (steamed) as an appetizer. We shared my daughter's Thai steak salad and my crab cakes - both superb. The Key lime pie was also excellent for dessert. I was disappointed that they did not have several of the types of tea that I wanted. Also, asked that they make a pizza when we were finished with our meal. It came 20+ minutes before we were finished. Service and overall attentiveness needs improvement. The quality and price point of the food and drinks is superb. If it were in a better neighborhood and easier to cross the street from the parking lot, I would go back much more frequently. Too many top restaurants in JC and Bayonne that are closer.

   This is the second time I have been to THE TABLE. Each time, the meal was delish! And the price is so reasonable. Easy parking. Nice ambiance. Staff is attentive. Just overall a great spot!

   i have been here multi times and it seems that each time the service gets worse. they have a bottomless mimosa and i did order it for brunch. they brought the food out and we were still waiting on our drinks. what is the purpose of bottomless if i am somewhat through my food before my 1st drink comes? mind you there were only 2 other tables in there for the 12:30 brunch. i have been here at least 5 times and it doesnt seem to be getting better. the waitstaff were nice and the kitchen did accomiate a strange request ... maybe it is just the bar area that is sooo slow it really has be wondering if we should go back or not, the food is good, the drinks are good when they get to you.

   My husband and I came across this restaurant while driving through Jersey City looking for a totally different restaurant. We had another event planned so we did a reservation instead of walking in. While at the restaurant we were greeted by the host ASAP and the servers were very attentive. The food was Amazing and the ambiance was Great!!

    The Table is one of our new local favorites! The space is great and the chef is even better. Chef Dan brought a lot of great dishes from Latham House to this restaurant and added a great array of new stuff too — especially the menu items made in the special oven.
