Coffee was cold, menu was too cute for a brunch/breakfast menu IMO.
That pasta bolognese is delicious! More meat less pasta than usual servings from its competitors.
I would really like to come back and give The Table another try, because the menu looked fantastic. Unfortunately, when my friends and I attempted brunch last Saturday, we were seated for 15 minutes without water (our 5th who showed up late never received water—carafes at the table would solve this) and 20 minutes before we could put in our drink order. It looked like there was one server and one bartender taking care of the whole place. After 45 minutes of no drinks, 1 missing water and no food order taken, we tracked down the server to see if he'd put in our drinks yet so we could pay and leave, since at this point we figured we weren't going to eat in the next hour unless we went somewhere else. He hadn't (and offered no apology other than that he's the only person working), so we left.
I loved my dish!! But my husband detested his. :( He didn’t order anything adventurous... risotto and scallops... and said the scallops were terrible. Also, the server was extremely nice and knowledgeable. Lower service marks because it was soooooo slow. If you’re in no rush* and prefer vegetarian/vegan, then I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant. *Note, neither were we, but it was easily an hour and a half for one starter and two mains.
Beautiful restaurant and excellent egg sandwich. Very disappointing Bloody Mary and server failed to keep water glasses full
Outstanding food and our service experience was excellent on a Friday evening. Good sized portions. Table had bullibaise which server recommended. Appetizers and desserts also excellent. A little pricey but worth it in my view.
We were disappointed in the wine pour amount. Our choice cost $12 and there was very little wine in the glass.
Food was fine but nothing special. Had the special octopus dish, the octopus was well prepared but the chorizo was not flavorful and the gnocchi were hard and chewy
We waited a very long time for food that we watched sit on the counter. Wait staff did not seem to be team players. Some stood around while ours ran around and also tended bar. Great concept with marginalexecution.
Awesome unique restaurant! Brunch was fabulous. The server recommended the vegetable akoori and add egg. The flavors were so good!
All good. Parking will be an issue
Great variety of menu items, relaxed atmosphere, attentive service.
What I ordered was very good but a small menu. Everything extra which made it a little pricey. Parking Bad
My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner at The Table. Service was attentive and fast. Waiter Ryan was excellent in his recommendations and attention to his diners. Loved the atmosphere and the food. The bouillabaisse seafood stew was just excellent with mouth-watering shrimps and scallops, squid, etc. in a light tomato broth. My wife had the chicken stew which was very good, although she tells me a little too spicy for her. Parking is a little challenging in the short north area but it can be found with some slight effort. Overall, a nice place to dine, with a young attentive crew of employees who want to establish a great reputation for dining.
Great time! We had a party of eight, three picky. Everyone was pleased with their meal and said they would return in the future. I give it a strong recommendation.
The Table was very nice. You gotta know going in that this is a place to relax. If your in a hurry this aint your place. The food was great, really enjoyed the fresh tasty dishes. We planned on being there a while we did apps thru desert and enjoyed the whole experience. Really good music selection while we dined.
With the whole family! The Table staff were such gracious hosts. Thank you!
Really slow service. Great food.
I like the environment of the table. It was a bit out of our comfort zone (which is partially why we wanted to try it) and we were pleased with getting a new experience and trying some different foods. I am not a very picky eater, and I overall like the food, but wasn't blown away by it. The waitstaff was wonderful and attentive but the bar service was slow.
We loved it, the food was great and so was the service!
My family had a wonderful meal at The Table, celebrating a birthday. Delicious, interesting food thoughtfully prepared. I would change a thing.
Table has a quaint atmosphere on the first floor, unfortunately our table was in the basement, which had no ambience whatsoever. Our server was not only slow, he placed the blame for our drinks not being delivered before our appetizers on someone else and he forgot to bring my beverage four times before I actually got it. He actually chuckled and said “I don’t know what’s wrong with me tonight”. Food was very good though. I will most likely not done here again for dinner.
Food and service were good. Dessert needs work. Presentation of pavlova was pretty amateurish was messy. Vegan chocolate cake was grainy.
Wow... what a great experience. Our new favorite place. So awesome. Food was delicious and the staff was perfect. 5 stars!
Valentine’s Day with my hubby!
Initial service was slow. We shall we'd up for our 7 on reservation 5 mins early and we're directed to the bar because the party before us had not surrendered the table yet. After 2 drinks we were seated. Order d the charcuterie, caeser salad, and entrees were the Kraken Chet's creative dish and the other oasted squash. By far and away, the best octopus I've ever had. So tender and served w peppers, sweet potato gnocchi and a red curry sauce. Delicious. Squash dish was also good but very rich and heavy. Will be back
The menu was very inventive and every dish we had was well executed. Thoroughly enjoyed the duck entrée and charcuterie was top notch
Enjoyed it very much
Really amazing food, drinks, and service. I was really pleasantly surprised by the creative take on some familiar food items. Server was very knowledgeable on food items, beer and wine (that is very important to me).
Waited 2 hours for our food to arrive in a half empty restaurant. Pasta was completely over cooked, sticking together and rubbery, chicken was so dry that it was impossible to chew, salmon dish was mediocre at best. Charcuterie was decent but again, the lack of attention to the 2hr wait for food was disappointing. The food wasn’t even hot when it arrived. The server was clearly embarrassed but there was no consolation nor did the manager approach our table to say a word about it.
Excellent service, good food, fun atmosphere. Pretty loud but it was packed because of restaurant week.
Way too loud and understaffed. It took an hour for our food to come out, multiple items were either missing or not prepared per diet restrictions. At one point our server apologized for the delay and offered to bring an appetizer or bread basket, and then never brought it. The cocktails were tasty, but really didn’t feel the value of the food bc of the long wait and small portions for the price.
Update- The Table reached out and thanked me for the feedback. They offered me a giftcard and invited me back to give them a second chance. I did not expect nor was I seeking a giftcard, but I will give The Table another shot. :)
It is a nice place to eat with a great menu, but if you are looking for something quick this is not the place to go. Every time I've been there the the wait time on food is 30 minutes or if they are busy it can take up to an hour.
We had a lovely gathering with extended family. We had adults and kids/ baby. It was casual to enough to feel comfortable, but the high service level makes it so nice. The food was delicious. It was my first time for brunch. I love dinner there and enjoy the cheeses and vegetarian dishes! Love this place.
Our group of 8 went on a Wednesday night and it took an hour to get our food which seemed long considering how the restaurant wasn’t packed. The server was friendly but not very well versed in the menu.
Overall, we went for restaurant week, and the $35 three course menu was way overpriced, considering some of the marquee restaurants in the city also were at the $35 price point and we got much less bang for the buck at The Table. The best dessert option here on the pre fixed menu was a single chocolate chip cookie...
The mushroom Ragu main dish was ok, but none of the three of us at the table who ate it agreed we would recommend it it eat it again. If you like pretentious / adventurous food at a trendy restaurant then this place is good. Otherwise, I’m satisfied with checking the box and won’t come back
Nice environment, not too loud. Food was good—a little pricey
Daniel our server was excellent. Did not push us, very attentive and recommended very good dishes.
Well worth a try. Great place for a date!
From it's beautiful eclectic ambiance to the unique menu items, The Table succeeds at curating and experience that I love. More recently The Table has begun hosting a dinner event for women in industry to highlight and showcase their talent. I cant brag enough so please go check it out yourself!
Amazing! The staff was very friendly and the food was out of this world!!!
The attention to detail at The Table is second to none in Columbus. The food, atmosphere, service, and cocktails simply cannot be beaten. Prove me wrong, but not before trying it for yourself. 12 out of 10 stars!
