   Do not attempt to make a reservation here as they take reservations when they are closed for dining. If you want to eat here, highly recommend calling to be sure they are actually serving. Highly disappointed in management at the place.

   Food was good but the menu was not a good selection as the previous menu I was expecting. Prime Rib was more like a steak, this was not what you expect at all. We got much less this time and paid 1/3 more.

   We went for a special night out. There were 3 other parties seated when we arrived. A short time later, a party of 6 arrived who immediately started yelling to one another as if they were in a crowded bar. We couldn’t even have a conversation. One of the original couples got up and took their drinks out to the patio, where they chose to eat even though temps were only in the 50s.

   The dining room was lovely: the decor is understated and comfortable. Our waitress was extremely friendly and interested in what we were doing in town, and made suggestions for things we might like to do. We really enjoyed chatting with her. She and the other waitress kept our water glasses filled and were very attentive during the meal. The kitchen staff member poked his head out a few times and smiled and waved: we felt that we were in someone's home rather than a restaurant, which was very nice and welcoming. All the diners seemed to be having a good time. Although not large portions, the food was delicious. The restaurant has a very nice wine list with interesting choices, not just the same selections that are presented everywhere.

    the Table was a very pleasant place to have a meal. You might describe it as a restaurant for couples. The service was great, it was quiet, the chairs were comfortable and the restaurant is attractively decorated. The food however was mediocre. We got fried green tomatoes, which had a very stiff seasoned crust, which masked the taste of the tomatoes. We both got the chicken. I got risotto with mine, and my husband had the potatoes. The chicken reminded me of my cooking when I'm in a hurry. It was tender, but the sauce was uninteresting and salty. My husband's asparagus was very well prepared as were my 4 small carrots. I wish they'd substituted more carrots for the risotto which was smothered in that same mediocre sauce. Same for my husband's potatoes. Perhaps other dishes were more memorable but the menu is restricted to just a few standard dishes. I don't think we'll be back.

    This place is a gem. The food was perfectly cooked and delicious, and prepared only from the freshest ingredients. Our server was engaging, humorous, fun, and attentive. The owner visited with us for quite a while, and she was lovely. This was one of the best restaurants I’ve ever eaten at. Can’t wait to go back!

    Went to The Table because recommended restaurants in town are closed on Sunday. Cute place with great service. We had a nice meal but would not go back or recommend after trying several other places in town.

    First of all I was very excited to book our reservation at the Inn. My dear friends were coming to visit from out of state. The review ranking was high, though the pictures made it look more glamorous then it was. Not sure if this was just an off night or inexperienced kitchen staff. Our reservation were at 6:15 and not very busy, few tables seated. I ordered the lamb dinner medium rare($38). It came out precooked & reheated to medium. Funny that the menu stated longer waiting time for cooking this dish, only to warm it up and when it arrived it was not even hot. My dinner was taken back and I then ordered the Shrimp and Grits. As My friend ordered it and it looked good. Unfortunately to both our surprise the shrimp was under cooked !! The grits & the surrounding accompaniment was delicious. Wow 3 dinners ordered that were not eatable. Another friend ordered the Duck dinner which she said the duck was good except for the mashed potatoes (less then warm & dry). We had 2 appetizers which were good. The Fried green tomatoes were delicious and crisp and the duck rolls. To keep our dining from completely being a disaster we only remarked & sent back the lamb dish. Our server Noticed that my friend left all her shrimp on her dish and ate the grits, I know she knew but decided not to ask. I took mine home to reheat and finish the cook off on the shrimp. Our server was apologetic and gifted our bottle of wine off our check as a compensation. I’m not sure I would risk going back for another dinner.

    My husband and I both commented that our meals were the best we ever had! We were celebrating out 36th anniversary in the quaint town of Edenton. For my meal, I ordered the filet mignon (just melted in my mouth) and I choose as my sides, the white truffle risotto and spinach. My husband ordered the scallops and he just raved about how sweet they tasted. Our only wish is that we lived closer to this phenomenal restaurant. The service was excellent too! And don't forget to order dessert!!! Yummy!

    Birthday dinner and mentioned the birthday girl Was gluten free - they had gluten free bread ready for her with the normal bread basket and had gluten free desserts to offer her. Food was delicious - scallops - salmon and fillet - all done perfectly along with the risotto, potatoes and asparagus. Very quiet - if you are looking for a romantic dinner or special occasion - this is it!
