   I ordered a steak, medium. It was medium well. The eggs were good and potatoes were top notch. When I pay $60 for a meal, I really expect my meat to be cooked to my liking. They have a new chef from what I’ve heard, and they have taken some good menu items off. So that was disappointing. But I highly recommend the mimosa flight, and / or any other cocktail. 5th time coming here and I love this place. Just wish they could check the meat before serving.

   Overall the food was great. The French toast was wonderful, it was the second time I have had it. The service was rather slow. We had to wait for the waitress to finish keying info into the computer and it took her forever. Probably 20 minutes. Then our food took 30 to 40 minutes and they were not that busy. The first time I was there our waitress was wonderful and we got our food quickly and they were busy. It happens, so we will be back. Hopefully service will be a little better.

   Food was next level good. Four people and we all LOVED each of our entrees and our waitress was exceptional. We called her the waitress ninja because she came and went, refilled beverages, gave extra napkins, etc. with the stealth of a ninja. Well worth the hour drive from Dayton. We will come back.

   The atmosphere is great. The food is always delicious. Drinks are great. The wait staff is the best!

   We had an excellent meal at The Syndicate to celebrate my wife's birthday. The drinks were delicious and beautiful, the food so tasty and in generous portions. Only critique was that it was very warm in the restaurant which made it a little hard to enjoy our evening.

    Wow! Can’t believe we hadn’t found the Syndicate until now. Everything about it was outstanding. The mushroom ravioli appetizer was so good we wish it were an entree. We had shrimp and grits and chicken and waffles for our entrees and the fried chicken was THE best we’ve ever had. We finished with desserts that also were very good. We were lucky enough to meet Elaine and she was the most personable and knowledgeable server we’ve had in a long time. We are already planning a return visit within the next week.
