This was our first time at the restaurant. The menu variety was great and the portions very generous. All was delicious. The wine list was extremely limited, but the Malbec we ordered was good. The service was some of the worst we have had in a while. The young man who waited on us was very nice, but he was definitely not appropriately trained. We had our appetizer salads for about 5-10 minutes and then our main meals came. All that food was on the table at the same time. The dinner should not be served before the salads have been removed. Also, the server had no idea how to serve wine. He just opened the bottle and poured it without letting the one who ordered it taste it, as is appropriate. Other than that, we did like the restaurant, but it is going take a lot to get my husband to agree to go back.
I understand Friday nights are happening w music and a lot of nice people. We went this past Saturday, it was very quiet which was better than some places we have been to that have noise level issues. The food was good, albeit a little pricey on the drinks, nice ambience, would have been nicer w fireplace going, overall very good just little touches missing that give it a "must go to" kind of place. We'll give it another chance at some point. The staff was excellent and the decor is updated old world Spanish. Just a few little tweaks would make this place really something special. Perhaps in the future! Best of luck!
The band was great. You have to have them back again! The server failed to deliver a food order to one of our guests. Next time, we'll eat in the bar.
The big bad garage band was great and so was the food and service. Couldn’t have had a better time on a Tuesday night.
This place is a gem in the neighborhood. Great food & cocktails, fine service - and not busy during the week. The staff was also helpful in recommending food for the kids dining with us. Recommended for anyone looking for a restaurant for a special occasion or just a lovely place where you can hear each other talk.
Very pleasant, good food. Loved the mushroom risotto. Wish we could have stayed for the music on Friday night. They sounded great.
It's a great place for a meal with friends. Pleasant ambiance, and great food!
The restaurant, lounge and bar was staffed by 2 waitpersons, one of which had called in sick. We had to wait one hour to be approached. It took us 2 hours to get our orders which came warm, not hot. If we weren’t there to hear a great singer songwriter J.C. Spires we would have left after 45 minutes. You have to pay $8 for valet parking and $16 for a very small house Manhattan and $10 for one ounce poor of Jameson. Two wait persons couldn’t have handled the large space and number of people. Success could be their downfall. Management is not taking their staffing needs seriously. As a result of being overtaxed, the waitress used my credit card for the wrong check and we have to check our statement to be certain it was reversed. We will see. Obviously we will not be back.
Great place for dining and/or meetings.
Great experience except for the acoustics. Kind of ruins the mood when you have to almost yell to be heard by the person across from you.
the place was dead. no reservations necessary. it looks like they are attempting to get business but on a saturday night there only 2 other tables
We had a large group and the staff was very welcoming and accommodating. They turned down the music for us and let us play the piano (we were the only party in the restaurant then). Our multigenerational family group all loved the food, the service, and the warm holiday atmosphere. The chef came out to greet us too, which was a lovely gesture. Highly recommend this restaurant for special occasions!
A great discovery. My family (with 2 teens)wanted to enjoy a beautiful winter day, so we chose seating outside overlooking the golf course. Our waiter, David, was extraordinarily gracious and attentive in his service. The Chef came out to make sure we were satisfied, and we were happy to tell him the food was outstanding, as was the presentation. A well-kept secret that deserves notoriety for its excellence.
Excellent experience, good food and great music!
The restaurant was empty, we were the only diners. I gave the food five stars because of the plating. The chef obviously cared a lot about his offerings - each dish was a work of art. He also came out to greet us.
Beautiful place to dine, very nice service and atmosphere!
Not to mention, delicious food!
This was our first visit and it was very pleasant - great service - will go back!
We went on a Sunday night and the poor waitress was the only one working in the dining room!! She did a good job but the service in the kitchen and bar was slow. They said there was a banquet going on in another room but we had made reservations in the dining room with no problem a few days before.
Also the dining room is one large room and there was one other big party dining. It was noisy!! The floors are not carpeted and there are no sections so the noise travels. It was a pretty room and would have be nicer if there had been more help. Our waitress was very nice- just too much for one person. The food was good when we finally got it.
Ruben was a great server
It’s a shame that more locals haven’t found this remodeled space at the Chevy
Have enjoyed both Sunday brunch and dinner. Menus for both had excellent food at a good price. Service (by Ruben) was top notch.
Classy surroundings, friendly employees and top-notch food. As more people find out this new place is open to the public, the busier it gets.
