   Guarantee a lovely evening with food cooked beautifully. Always a favourite place in any season. Staff lovely.

   The manager was really helpful with the dietary needs of one of our party, she went out of her way to be cooperative .

   Super village pub. Cosy open fire, just perfect on a cold, rainy winters day like today. Great varied menu. Lovely food. Only criticism is my portion of Bangers and Mash was too big, but then again, I only have a small appetite! Very attentive service and great live music in the (heated) out door area.

   Unique setting, wonderfully friendly, charming inn, food was amazing, well worth the 100 mile drive to eat.
