   The Sunday lunch at the swan was delicious. The service could’ve been better. We had to chase a starter, shortly after it arrived another of the same starter arrived. When our main turned up, the waitress questioned what we’d ordered when we’d told her the order was wrong. It turned out she’d read the order wrong. When we’d finished our meal and said we didn’t want desserts we were rushed to get the bill before we’d finished our newly ordered drinks. They weren’t waiting for the table as we were the only table in the area we were seated in. Just felt a very rushed and unorganised experience.

   I ordered a steak and it came overcooked. When I questioned this it was taken away and exactly the same one came back having nothing done or changed on it!! The steak came first then a ten minute wait for all other food from the order came. They can't excuse it because I sent some thing back. The manager came and asked what the problem was and then argued with me over it!!!

   Genuinely one of the nicest dining experiences I’ve enjoyed recently. The food, service, ambience were lovely. The Swan feels like an authentic, locals pub which happens to serve exceptional food. We enjoyed the chateaubriand for the table which was perfectly cooked. Quite a feat as some wanted it medium rare and I take my beef medium! The vegetables taste like they were picked that morning and also couldn’t have been better prepared. Lovely staff rounded off evening wonderfully.

   Our first time at the Swan which was a gift from a friend, we had a very warm welcome on arrival, the staff were all attentive and polite. The food was amazing and absolutely delicious couldn’t fault anything and I’d highly recommend this beautiful pub. We will be back for more!

   Roast dinner was fabulous! Delicious and great portion. Not much fish left after deboning but guess that’s the risk you take. Pear dessert is tiny weeny … tasted lovely but is is a slither of a pear and tiny weeny biscuit with a normal scoop of yummy ice cream. Staff were great. Decor and surroundings gorgeous.
