   The Sun Room is a great place to get a good breakfast. There is a good variety and not too much; its not overwhelming. The mochas are super delish and everything is fresh. The wait staff are a little green around the ears, but very earnest and eager to please. My husband had dietary restrictions and they had no problem working with us and the kitchen did a great job with the food. The views are outstanding even on a windy, stormy rainy day. Cant wait to come back and sit in the sun room in the summertime.

   Appreciated a certain recommendation from our server who was also very polite. Breakfast was very enjoyable. The Sun Room is just one part of an impressive lodge building.

   This place truly needs some training on the meaning of hospitality. No one around to seat us. Had to get menu ourselves. Did not get waters, utensils and waited over 30 minutes for our food!

   We ate everything crab — crab bisque, crab salad and crab cakes. Every dish was prepared well and delicious. hi And excellent fried oysters, too.

   My husband and I ate dinner here for our anniversary, since we were staying at the resort. I had made a reservation and we were seated instantly when we arrived. It took about five minutes for our waiter to show up and asked if we wanted anything to drink, we ordered Moscow Mules. He came back a few minutes with ice water. Our drinks from the bar came about 10 minutes after that which they were very watered-down Moscow meals. We ordered our dinner which took about 25 to 30 minutes to arrive, when we got it my New York strip steak with half gristle and blackened so much on the outside it was crunchy I would’ve returned it back to the kitchen but our waiter disappeared and rarely came to our table. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone the overall quality of the food and drinks does not match up with how expensive everything is here the waiters need more training and to be more courteous towards customers. We didn’t hear a single thank you from our waiter. My husband and I were very disappointed in how we were treated here and it’s definitely not gonna be a happy remembered anniversary dinner.

   Waiter seemed senior but did not bring silverware for starters and admitted he had no clue what the cheeses were on the cheese board starter. The cheese board came after 30 min after ordering and our main course was served a few minutes after. Wine selection was superb and the best part of our experience.

   Great place on the Oregon coast...The Sun Room at Salishan has nice views of the golf course and surrounding areas. We sat in a corner window table (window on each side), which was lovely. Good food, good ambiance, we were quite happy. Our server was attentive and responded to our requests very competently.
