The wife and I enjoy our dinner here. The food and the drinks is amazing! And the view of the Atlanta was also great!
Ordered two wagyu steaks, one came out well done when asked for medium rare. The other came out cold twice. Was very underwhelmed. The manager never came over to rectify the ordeal but the waiter (Kim) tried his best and was wonderful. Management could’ve at least showed their face - so unprofessional. Supposed to be a high class establishment and reiterated to me that there was a dress code when I made my reservation, but did not enforce that at all and while I was dining I seen several patrons in jeans and sneakers. Needless to say we won’t be back.
Food was great. Service was good. A bit pricey but, expected from a fine dining establishment.
We went there for our anniversary and everything was amazing
The food was overpriced, low quality, salty, and greasy. I cannot believe I spent so much money for such bad tasting food. I have never left a restaurant without taking the rest of my food to go....but the sundial was an exception. What a great disappointment.
Bad experience overall. Made reservation for a birthday party, with party of 4. One friend is running late for 0.5 hour, and reception just refused the rest of us to get seated till everyone is here. In addition, one friend wants to bring a small cake for celebration, but again reception didn't allow so we have to drop it. Food is ok, price has doubled. Had a really bad experience overall.
Peter was amazing!! He was knowledgeable on the menu and made our anniversary even more special. Thanks Peter for the awesome service and knowledge.
This place is amazing. The views are gorgeous. The staff was great. The price is HIGH! This is not a place that we can’t frequent due to the high prices, $334 for two including the tip. This will have to be a once a year kind of visit for us. Overall we had a great time.
Great service, awesome food!! Def a must for fine dining in Atlanta.
Wonderful service and great food. They even took time out to take our picture with the gorgeous view
Very nice ambiance with good food. The restaurant was not very clean...we noticed dirt, grime and dust on surfaces and carpet. The food is overpriced, e.g. $57 for salmon and $82 for an 8oz fillet. The service was good.
Great birthday dinner! Service was great and view was amazing! Can’t wait to go back
it was definitely an experience i will never forget. Sun Dial was the perfect restaurant to enjoy the last few hours of my boyfriends birthday. Very elegant with a beautiful view. I encourage everyone to visit if they get the chance!
Great view of Atlanta, as well as great service from the servers. The food was delicious and the dessert was great will be back for sure.
Phenomenal experience. Easy booking and check-in. The view is unbeatable. The service was superb. And the food was amazingly delicious. I could not have asked for a better experience.
The view was magnificent and the food was great. Refreshing to be there!
Everything was so good. It was my first time here I was little worried about bringing my two year old but he had a good time and they even cut up his food in small pieces 😊 .the Half chicken and Salmon was really good! THE VIEW WAS BEAUTIFUL! I would recommend others to come for special occasions with families and small children.
The service was absolutely great! Very attentive & friendly staff! The Lamb is the best dish they have !
We had a window seat so the view was great I wish they still rotated the food was good but not worth the price it’s definitely a place you will go even if it’s only the one time.
The sell it a a rotating restaurant, the restaurant in fact does not rotate, the restaurant looks dated, need to change the carpet and the furniture, food was ok but you go for the experience to find out that you don’t actuall get it
Enjoyed my time for sure!! Beautiful scenery and amazing hosts!!
Enjoyed my birthday dinner here, food and virw was amazing
The ambiance was amazing. Miss the rotating part the food was delicious but not cooked to order. We ordered medium rare on both our steaks and they came medium to medium well. When paying $300 for a meal we expect it to be cooked as ordered.
My experience in Sundial is always pleasurable; however, this time was absolutely amazing. The service was phenomenal, the food was exquisite and the atmosphere was divine. I’ve only eaten at the establishment during brunch, so I was really looking forward to dinner. The dinner experience exceeded all expectations.
The view and the food was phenomenal.
However, for an upscale restaurant with a dress code, it wasn't adhered to. A family was sat near us in jean shorts and flip flops - clearly prohibited in the dress code. Another family was seated near us that allowed their child to roam freely about the restaurant, including near our table.
We were attempting to quietly celebrate our anniversary, so this was slightly annoying. We may return if the restaurant starts turning again, but without the turning, the restaurant itself is simply an overpriced meal with a 72 story view of one spot per table.
The place is an absolute must see! The service was just ok not spectacular.., I think it was our particular waiter though. The waitress at the next table was out standing!!! The food is way over priced but I'm sure you just pay for the breath taking views. Appetizers are way better than the main courses by far. I would like to return again soon. I enjoyed it!
Food wasnt all that great. 2 other tables had already sent their food back before we even got ours so we new not to have high expectations. For the the restaurant to be so nice the food and service definitely didnt match. It wasn’t terrible but I dont have any plans to go back.
My guy and I went to celebrate our birthdays. The view, ambiance and food was great. Nice place to celebrate special moments!
It was fantastic. Food was expensive but I knew that going in :). Well worth it
The servers are top notch, and the service overall is excellent. My son said they made the best sweet tea he's ever tasted. It's the food that is lacking. I eat strip steaks 3-5 times a week, this $82 strip steak was nothing special. The view of the city was good, but not as good as it used to be when the restaurant actually rotated so that you could see the entire city in the time it took to sit, order, eat, and pay for a good meal. What a disappointment that they have let this restaurant deteriorate like it has over the years (the hotel is even worse in this regard). Still worth the experience, but next time I would just go for a few drinks and take in the view after I've had a meal somewhere else.
All the food was really good except the broccoli accompanying my steak was burnt. And we were disappointed that the restaurant still doesn't rotate, and there was no determined date of when it would rotate again.
This is my 3rd time dining at the Sundial and each time has been a memorable experience. The food and service is always too notch and the views are spectacular. This recent trip was to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. The kid menu offers a nice variety and she enjoyed her meal.
Our waiter Peter was the best. I think he made our experience better then what it should have been. The food was good, but not worth the prices. The mixed drinks need to be stronger for the prices, just a frozen slush. We did get a souvenir to bring with us which I loved. That was my first experience and now I can say I dined at Sun Dial.
Entering the restaurant it was already a mess. The parking was backed up and caused us to come late. Which wouldn’t have been an issue since we had a 20 min grace period which it says on the reservation site.. but in fact there was no grace period at all. So we were immediately put in the order we came as if we didn’t reserve the table at all and so we waited for about 30 minutes. The seating staff were very rude about that issue and denied having the grace period mention. The rest of the staff were ok but I feel like slot of them were newer. For the price one pays there I felt like you would have gotten a better service at a longhorns for half the price. The food was exceptional and our waiter was very accommodating.
We feel the good menu can be better in such a nice place esp when you charge so much for 8 Oz steak or even salmon .
Options would be good .
Service was a little slow, felt ignored compared to the other tables our server had, still our server performed well, just a little inattentive.
Great food! Mesmerizing views.
El servicio fue excelente y la comida muy buena a mis hijos les encanto el lugar y sobre todo una maravillosa vista de Atlanta
