   We visited The Sun Dial with high expectations to celebrate a special occasion. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what the setting—and the price—promised. First, both dishes were served incorrectly: we ordered a ribeye well done and lamb chops medium, but received a medium ribeye and well done lamb chops. My dish was also overwhelmingly loaded with black pepper, making it nearly impossible to eat. When I asked a nearby waiter if the food had pepper or spice, he simply told me to “ask my server” without offering any help. The service felt disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking basic courtesy. I had to lie about having a pepper allergy just to have my meal remade. Eventually, I received the lamb chops cooked to the correct temperature. Then, while showing my partner where the restroom was—without having finished our meal—another server came and cleared our plates without asking, throwing everything away. My partner then had to wait for a new dish to be made, only this time it was boxed to go. We paid $260 for what was supposed to be a romantic, elegant evening, and it turned into a stressful experience full of service mishaps and poor communication. Yes, the view is stunning. But if you’re looking for a high-end dining experience with attention to detail and a staff that makes you feel welcome and cared for, unfortunately, this was not it.

   Very nice and clean place to visit in family or with friends, my gf and I had the best experience and the food was so delicious.

   Both my wife and I thought he food was delicious and the view was outstanding. Ann was an outstanding waitress who took several pictures for us.

   The view is amazing. I have been 4 times over 15 year span. They have progressively increased in cost and decreased in value. Food was good not great. Its visual appearance was great but the taste was mid at best. The waiter was very nice and polite but did not come around as often as expected for a high end restaurant. The price is high but I am paying for the view. The menu is limited and substitutions are generally not allowed. I enjoyed my night but will most likely not return.

   Great food and experience. A little on the noisy side but that was due to some prom type of event going on.

   Substandard across the board. 18 oz steak was tough and sinewed. Watercress Salad limp and overdressed. Ok - so we were paying for the view. Understood. No hard feelings here - Special Occasion or Corporate Account outings make sense.

   Very classy and breathtaking views of the city. The only minus it still doesnt rotate. That's half the reason for going up there.

   The view of the city was impressive. The wait staff was attentive and genuinely personable and polite. The food, definitely worth it. One of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Every course was on point. Definitely recommend.

    Manage your expectations, you’re paying for the views, not the food or service. Very overpriced for the quality which is really disappointing. One and done!
