I was extremely disappointed in the entire evening. The entree’s (crab cakes) included Ild Bay seasoning and both orders were extremely salty. We had to send them back. The lamb was charred and I just ate poor quality food with no further complaints.
The birthday celebration was magnificent filled with love and family. This and the ambiance saved the evening. I will not dine there again nor will I recommend.
I throughly did not enjoy myself and neither did my wife. The service was horrible. The waiter was extremely forgetful. Each plate we received was cold. The lamb I ordered was dry.
The restaurant was basically empty and the wait time on food and drinks was so long.
I literally wasted $300 on my wife’s birthday dinner. Extremely unhappy. I will never come back.
It was our first time and we absolutely loved the experience
Order the salmon ! Its amazing! The views were illuminating.
The sea bass was ok but not the best I have had. The waiter was wonderful.
Food tasted a bit manufactured. Overall good view and service.
The view is a must! The food was sub par, the sea bass was over cooked as was the lamb. Ann, our server was truly the only reason we would visit again. She made the visit unique and was so helpful and welcoming. Overall, they tried to make up for the terrible food but weren't successful with the execution of the meals at all...
Very good and worth it. The food was amazing. I will definitely be back.
The view is great. The food is okay. Way too expensive. The service was not what I expected, I thought it was supposed to be an experience but turns out you’re just paying for the view. They knew that it was my husbands birthday but nothing really happened. I wanted to make it special.
Husband and I are not difficult to handle and we pay for price without causing trouble. Just very disappointed that I spent $200 & expect the service to be more attentive.
Spectacular view and delicious food. The service was top of the line!
Very nice restaurant for a business or family dinner. Food was delicious!
I love it, the tropical drink delicious and food as well!! The view😍😍😍
5th anniversary
Significantly over priced.. I think since they are now only open on Friday and Saturday they have tripled their prices. Food is OK definitely not worth the money. Restaurant was empty we ask for a table next to the window and didn’t get it. Not a great experience
Over priced and not everyone was dressed appropriately.
Excellent!!
Over priced meal but perfect views
The food was very delicious and the views were very outstanding!!
Very great experience. I hadn’t been to the Sun Dial in about 8 years prior to this most recent visit. The food was good, service was good, and our food/drinks came out very quick. Unfortunately it no longer rotates, but the views are still absolutely breathtaking. It would just be nicer to view the skyline at all angles. The only issue I had was that the party at the table next to ours kept getting up and taking pictures. Due to the pandemic it’s important that everyone keep their distance. There are many areas available in the restaurant for you to get up and take pictures. Why huddle near someone else’s space? The restaurant staff should strictly enforce social distancing.
The card machine was down and I had to pay cash. I had to take 2 trips to the atm which took 30 mins away from my date it was very unprofessional
It was wonderful thank you for the experience. I wish the building rotate!!
Server was great
Everybody’s food was terrible
Only thing everybody liked was the New York cheese cake
Very overrated !!!!
The views of the Atlanta skyline are amazing, the service is top notch, and the restaurant is beautiful, if a bit dated. The restaurant is not currently rotating, which was disappointing, but we were warned of that beforehand, so it wasn't a surprise. The food was very good. Not necessarily worth the price of admission, but still a good meal. We felt like were paying more for the location than for the quality of the meal.
Overall, we had a great time, and the restaurant did everything they could to follow Covid guidelines and take what precautions they could.
Waiter was attentive and added to the overall experience.
Todo estuvo perfecto, el único problema fue que no estaba dando vueltas es restaurante. Pero todo estuvo perfecto. Una delicia el menu
Michael was absolutely amazing, the best service we have experienced in a very long time. He was attentive and personable. All of the food was great, high quality and cooked perfectly.
This my second time here and it seems like it gets better and better. The service, food, view was amazingggggg! 5 star for sure definitely recommended for dates and special occasions.
Be nice if it would revolve. Our waitress Ann was very pleasant
Enjoyed every aspect of this great restaurant. Food service attention to detail...
Sundial is one of my favorite places because of the elegance and the great View. It's unfortunate that they had to stop the rotation feature, understandably, yet it is missed. Of course tables were socially distant. Prefix Christmas dinner price was High I thought, at $ 105 plus 18% gratuity), but it was a pamdemic Splurge for the holiday and a treat for our 2 teenagers. After explaining to them the reason for and importance of a palate cleanser (which was a sorbet) it never arrived. I guess the waiter was hoping I would not notice. When I mentioned it he admitted he forgot it but wasn't quick to get it / make up for it. At this price, we wanted everything we paid for. He eventually comped my husband and I iced teas as an I'm sorry. Okay. I asked for a to-go cup for my delicious vanilla bean sweet tea , and he said all he had was kids sippy cups and suggested I take the drink out as is, in the tall, Sundial glass tumbler ( uncovered) . Huh? I'm thinking, this is not Bourbon Street. A table right next to the glass windows would have been roomier and nicer. We would have asked for a switch but we actually didn't see one available. Fun people-watching inside and downstairs while waiting for the Sky elevator oh, and of course for the valet to return our car (kind I'll forever), as always. But, you can't beat that outside elevator ride, pretty scary – fantastic! We will continue to patronize Sundial for special occasions.
My server Yves was great. The view is worth it. I know why the rotation feature has ceased, but the rotation feature would make it a more worthy experience. The restrooms should have constant attention. I went to use the restroom and couldn't because it needed cleaning. I use to have lunch here quite often years ago and don't remember kids. Adult only hours would be nice, but the Sun Dail is worth the experience at least once in a person's life.
Excellent service. Mr Bridges was an awesome waiter.
Michael wonderful. Table of. Kids noisy.
Missed restaurant turning. Looks like decor needs refreshing. View great. Food fabulous..
I went for my birthday. The table cloths were wrinkled and the food was mediocre. The restaurant didn’t not rotate at all. I will not go back.
It was our first time dining at The Sun Dial. It was my husband’s birthday l. I wish there was some type of dessert with a candle and happy Birthday acknowledge even with the masks on would have been thoughtful
The Sun dial in Atlanta has been one of the greatest dinners I've had. The food was fantastic, and our drinks were strong. The view of Atlanta from the sundial is quite amazing, This restaurant has been one that I have been wanting to visit for a while and after experiencing it I'm glad I did. As for the price of food, it was quite expensive but worth the experience. The service wasn't as expected but they kept our waters full and brought out our meals at the appropriate times. Although waiting for the waiter to take our order did take quite a bit of time.
OMG where do I even start! The view was amazing, food was A1, and the atmosphere was just a vibe. Great experience overall! I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Atlanta.
Sundial is a great place to go for a special occasion. It is romantic, service is excellent, and food is outstanding.
Beautiful views
