The Summit Restaurant
Our menu is complimented by a weekly feature sheet that our Executive Chef, Drew Double, uses to create fresh, seasonal dishes.
If you are golfing prior to joining us, please make your reservation 4 hours and 45 minutes after your tee time.
Our patio is sat on a first come, first serve basis. We will attempt to honor all the patio requests that we receive.
We do keep tables for walk ins in case your desired reservation time is not available.
Million dollar view, great service. Food quality needs improvement as it does not measure up to the great surroundings
Food is great quality, healthy and very tasteful
What a great place. My family really enjoyed our dinner.
The food is quite good and the view from the patio simply can't be beat! We enjoyed lunch on a beautiful fall day, so parking was a breeze in the lowest lot, with a quick 2 min walk to the clubhouse. We will definitely be back!
Lovely view which couldn't be beat. Very nice waitstaff, good service, good value for money. We'll be back again.
Kelsey is a fabulous server, so friendly and efficient. The GM came over to snag a picture for us because it is so beautiful there.
Beautiful place to dine. Service was very good. Food choices less than average for this atmosphere. Pub grub is okay but add a steak or salmon dish or 10 and you would have a real winner. People who spend a day golfing or drive up for the ambience would likely spend the money on a real dinner. You run a first class golf course, give those who choose to dine with you a better selection not just nachos, burgers, fish and chips, and assorted noodle bowls. Be better!
Great heated out door patio with fire feature. Indoor space very comfortable with floor to ceiling windows looking at mount Kid and golf course. Fall colours are fantastic as are summer views. Worth the drive!
Beautiful setting in the mountains overlooking the golf course. We ordered appetizers and waited for an hour. We ordered nachos, lobster dip and the mushrooms. Everything was delish but I would I could have done with out the sweet sauce on the nachos. The service was a little lacking but the manager gave us a discount.
I would not discourage this place, the service we got was a one off and I would def go back.
Was a little disappointed in my meal. The food was not hot and the rice was hard
My group and I were delighted to have lunch here after hiking Pokaterra Cirque. Great food, atmosphere, views, excellent service, and tucked away in a beautiful location.
Can't wait to stop by again.
After our golf game, we had dinner at the Summit Restaurant at the course. We were going to be about 15 minutes late and called them - they accommodated us with no problem. The staff were excellent, the food was well prepared, presented, and quite tasty. Great value and a good experience overall. All staff followed Covid protocol, and we were quite comfortable dining at the Kananaskis Country golf course.
I had the Margherita pizza and it was very good, easily enough for 2 people. Service was very good- no waiting. Scenery as always is beautiful and we were there on a clear blue sky day with the leaves starting to change colour. Doesn’t get any better. I’m thinking you could market this to Calgarians, even non golfers, to just come out for a seat on the patio and to enjoy the food and the scenery. It’s worth the drive.
Excellent service. Great spot to enjoy a great lunch.
2nd time dining. 1st time had fish & chips. Fries weren't that hot & fish okay. I expected better quality especially having a chef, ie not frozen fries or fish. This time I tried the Shanghai noodles. It smelled great but then the cilantro was so overwhelming, that's all I could taste. Chicken was kind of on the dry side.
Friendly service, amazing views, delicious food, cold beer... that sums it up!
Fantastic views, good food, decent service, a little slow.
We didn't get the table we reserved for & also was told we could go on the deck but we're not given to open table on the deck. The food was average at best, smaller portions for the cost & quality was that of a middle of the row food franchise, just average.
The server was excellent, tried to do the best he could to make up for the food quality & moving us quickly to a more suitable table.
We ate at 7:00 after our golf game. The menu is limited but we enjoyed our main courses. The mushroom appetizer was especially good. We ordered a bottle of wine which was exceptional.
Really enjoyed the food and the price was quite reasonable. The staff were wonderful and the view of the mountainous area was breathtaking that day. The golf course was busy and was pretty to view from the clubhouse as well. Would recommend this establishment to anyone.
Beautiful views with a very reasonably priced menu and excellent service.
The view from the balcony is enough to give the Summit 5 stars. The service and food put it over the top. If you don't stop in at the Summit after a round of golf, you are missing out.
Friendly staff, delicious food and an incredible view!!
quiet, beautiful scenery
great wine selection!!!! rare treat
We had an early dinner reservation for 4:30 which was just fine by us as we were hungry. The service was fabulous...we had our drinks arrive at our table very quickly. The caesar I had was one of the best I’ve had in along time.
I ordered the lobster roll with fries....so yummy. My husband had the fish and chips....his was equally enjoyed.
We will definitely eat here again the next time we out here to golf.
Delicious food from a varied menu, friendly service & amazing view from the patio. Tables are spaced appropriately to maintain proper social distancing measures both inside the restaurant & on patio.
What a beautiful setting! The food was very good but took a bit longer than we hoped for to get our food served.
Good variety on the menu and beautiful ambience! We really enjoyed our lunch.
Seemed to be enough staff working but service was very slow. Great views
Great views from patio, need patio heaters for when that coldness comes in
A great experience ! The food was amazing and the ambience was wonderful!
Dining on patio spectacular.
Breakfast excellent. Dinner good but too much batter on fish.
Recommended it to friends.
Clean and respectful of social distancing. Definitely recommend.
Despite the covid safety procedures the staff and restaurant functioned efficiently. Felt very comfortable with their measures.
Perfect Sunday lunch with the family ❤️
We sat outside on beautiful day and enjoyed a cold one and a sandwich. A perfect ending to the day.
with mountain view, quiet and nice atmosphere, a very relaxing and comfortable restaurant.
I had the clubhouse and fries. The sandwich was 3 inches thick and super delicious. Took half of it home. Rest of our group had the lobster rolls and everyone raved about how good they were.
Great place to wrap up your round before heading out.
Great service, fantastic view and great food
