Fantastic food, will be back again in the week for a steak…The front of house Maitre d’ is worth the visit alone….excellent welcome and service

It was a special wedding anniversary meal and it was all superb! Fresh food, hot, plentiful. Dessert a particular delight… clever combinations.

We were slightly late arriving, having gone to the old place on the square! But we were welcomed and looked after immediately. It was a very open room, airy room with plenty of room between tables. Gradually over our meal it filled up and although everyone was talking the acoustics in the room kept it to a minimum. The service was amazing with big smiles and a fabulous Italian gentleman who was highly amusing. It was a very welcoming experience. Then the food arrived and on my! When my Welsh friends tell me it is the BEST lamb they have ever experienced I believe them. My beef was mouthwatering, soft and coming from the North the gravy was hmmmmmm, yummy. Followed by their excellent desserts ... we had a fabulous time. Apparently the toilets were excellent too. Got to say I liked the old place but this new place really adds to the ambience. Reminded us of some very nice places in London.... THANK YOU xx

Great food, lovely venue, charismatic bar man. Was very loud at peak time. Would definitely go again, but not one for those sensitive to high noise levels.

Everything was lovely, food was delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. We had a lovely evening celebrating my partners birthday. We will definitely be back.

Food was absolutely fantastic and the service polite, courteous,and very helpful. Lovely ambience,everything was super clean . Can't recommend enough.

I’ve already left a review on Tripadvisor as I was in awe of the place. Although a little noisy when we first arrived as it was pleasantly busy, the ambiance was great and the decor and cleanliness were superb. The staff were efficient , friendly but professional. The food…..oh my goodness, some of the most flavoursome I’ve ever had! The roast dinner was sublime, my favourite being the cauliflower cheese and the extra gravy. The beef was delicious, although my husband prefers slices of beef, I thought it was well cooked and broke up easily and was easy to eat. Absolutely stunning meal and I would recommend to anyone a visit is a must if you’re in the area
