   Worst meal in Wales so far.. Near venue in Victoria Hotel Booked table Pie/ mash….very small pie/ small mash but reasonable taste. Big appetisers will be disappointed I had chicken curry.. worst curry I have tasted. Semi tea pieces of not well cooked onion pieces/ mild tomatoey sauce with curry powder taste/ and a thimble full of rice Naan bread was OK We were asked about the food. I complained. I sent it back virtually uneaten No one came to ask what was wrong. Full bill paid and walked out Canteen like seating arrangement . Will not go again

   Starter of pork crackling and apple was disappointing I expected some homemade crackling but this was not the case Whilst we had steak and it was well cooked the sauce did not taste of anything in particular. We did not get dessert as didn’t wish to be disappointed further. Given the great reviews I had high expectations but felt deflated

    Enjoyable meal in their new premises. Comfortable and relaxed. Staff excellent both serving food and behind the bar.pleasant and knew what they were doing. 3 options not available on the menue which was a bit surprising as it was Easter Weekend. The meals we selected were tasty and were served on hot plates which is always a good sign. Good selection of wine and beers. Will be the first reastaurant we will book next time we stay in Abereyron
