The Strip Club 104 a steak house Ratings and Reviews
Overall my experience was incredible! It was a recommendation and I surprised my boyfriend with a boyfriend dinner here. The only complaint that I have is that the hostess was not at allpleasant but otherwise it was immensely impressed!
Would definitely revisit!
Filet Mignon was cooked as ordered and flavorful. Nice selection of main courses, however, not everyone likes bacon in almost every side dish! Most entrees come with some sort of bacon involved. It may be possible to substitute other sides if desired.
Service was good except when my husband's plate was very quickly taken away (by someone other than our server) as soon as he put his fork on the empty plate. It is customary to leave all plates on the table until everyone is finished eating so no one feels guilty for eating too fast or too slowly.
Atmosphere was good and the noise level was perfect for conversations.
Our first time here. What a pleasant surprise. We had a great waiter who served us well. Delmonico steak for him and crab cakes for me. He loved his steak and the crab cakes were good but next time I think i will go for something else...a little salty. Plan on going back for round two.
I always enjoy visiting Strip! My husband and I try to go whenever we are in SC. I will say that my only complaint is that they don't sell their delivious Bourbons by the bottle! I'm going to keep "complaining" about that until it becomes a reality! We would love to take some home to GA with us!
We were a party of 12 and had a good experience so we came back the very next evening again. We were sorry we did! Our reservation was for 7:20 pm. We were left with empty wine glasses and even water several times. We didn’t even get our meals until 10 pm! Totally ridiculous. We spent $850 the first night and $1,000 the second night. Needless to say, we expected much better service then the first night since we came back. We won’t go back for a long time. Very disappointing!
I was expecting a great dinner after such a good appetizer. It was a let down. My steak was ordered medium well and it was burnt on the bottom. My asparagus wasn't done and the lobster Mac and cheese was just as big of a let down. As expensive as this place is it was a very big let down. Maybe it was just a bad night.
My husband and I come to the Strip Club quite often, maybe twice a month. The food is amazing and, in general, the wait staff is great. The issue I consistently have is the hostess, Harley. She is rude, demeaning and snarky. This is the first time I've made a reservation, only because I didn't want to deal with her. The last time we came, we requested an outside table, per usual. She sat two families outside, without a reservation, that arrived after us. When I requested a specific server, she told me twice in an incredibly rude way that she didn't work there, when in fact, she was down at Bin for the night. If I ever arrive before my husband, she mockingly questions me when I tell her I need a table for two. Overall, we thoroughly enjoy coming and we won't stop. But something needs to be done about Harley.
Tonight was a celebration dinner for my husband and I. We celebrate our 14th anniversary on Monday. We got a recommendation from a friend of mine, that this was the place to go. I can honestly say of our 14 years together this was the best meal we have ever eaten out. I had the Strip Steak, he had the Filet. They were both cooked to perfection. We also started with the Flaming Saganaki Cheese....the best appetizer EVER!! The Wedge Salad was almost too pretty to eat....we ended our meal with a complimentary Creme Brulle...that was to die for.
The atmosphere was perfect...and Laura S was the best server....cudos to Laura!!! We felt as if we were her only customers. She was that good!!
Highly recommend this place, we will go back...soon!!!
My two girlfriends and I had the most wonderful time celebrating their birthdays .waitress was absolutely wonderful food was delicious .I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. I will certainly be going back and taking family and other friends also!!!
This was our first visit to "The Strip Club". The atmosphere was o.k. and the food was decent but a bit on the pricey side. The one hitch in the evening was the amount of time it took for us to get our food. It seemed to take a lot longer than I would expect for a party of two that did not order exotic foods or had special preparation instructions. If spending extra money is your way of impressing someone (or you are impressed by someone else spending extra) then this might be a good place to consider.
Other then the server being nice and the old fashion being delicious. It was a very disappointing time. It took 45 min after our reservation time to be seated. Then another hour to receive our food. My wife ordered a 4 oz filet and requested it to be medium. It came out rare so we sent it back and after the server returned it, it was burnt on the outside and still rare on the inside. The burnt outside left a horrible taste in our mouths for hours after. I have no intentions on returning due to the price point vs quality of food.
Went w eager expectations, no hesitations, based on GREAT Bin 112 visits/multiple word-of-mouth recommendations. Made BDAY reserv week in advance via Open Table. Got multiple email/text/voicemail confirmations—replied if requested.
Arrived 10 min early; not busy. Hostess confirmed reserv. Said table almost ready—waiting on “just a few factors”. Waited right outside door for 30 min, saw couple other parties of 2 seated. She gave no update of seating status. Finally stepped in to check; was only guest at stand—waited 5 min for her to finish other tasks; then she asked—May I help you? Odd question given circumstance. I asked for seating status. She replied—Do you have a reservation? Even odder. Told her we’d checked in w her, she’d confirmed reservation, I’d received/responded to many reminders. She said—I see what’s going on. Didn’t share what that meant. We were seated in 10 min.
Server was nice. Didn’t share steak offerings that aren’t on menu til husband pointed out another diner’s meal and asked where that was on menu. She said not on menu; directed attn to chalkboard w steak info. No additional info provided, so we went w menu, which was fine.
Once eating, realized we had wrong order—no egg, gravy, etc. on steak-egg entree.
Long delays bt server check-ins, and my husband said steak was great even though not his ordered entree. We were running really late by this pt even though plenty of time starting out. When server came, he mentioned he thought he had wrong order but that plain steak he had was great. She was very surprised; apologized for not noticing when she delivered food. No offer to change it, but totally pleasant exchange. Several parties had bday dessert brought out. No mention to us of bday—bc we were so late and had to leave, we didn’t have time anyway, so we didn’t raise occasion.
Bill reflected they didn’t charge for wrong order—appreciated and unexpected.
Sad to say, multiple ongoing missteps throughout pm overshadowed the very good food.
This was our second time there, and the establishment proved that the 1st time was not just a mirage. The quality of the food surpasses that of a place charging 50% more than the "Strip club". We will return and also try the sister restaurant located just down the street. Too many good things to list here, just be advised the food here is very good and it will not break you!!
What a wonderful way to celebrate our anniversary! Our server, Jeff, was outstanding, made great suggestions based on our preferences, and did a fabulous job helping with my wine selections! We did not feel at all rushed, and had a lovely, relaxing dinner together. We will be back, and plan to become regular patrons of this awesome establishment!
7:30 reservation. Table was not ready so we were seated at the bar. Bartender was way too busy to serve us but very nice. No drinks at bar. When we were seated at our table 20 minutes later it took another 10 minutes to get our drinks. The meal was excellent and came quickly. We were entertaining out of town guests and they raved about the cuisine!! Always enjoy BIN 112 and The Strip Club!!
