This place needs new management and a new chef. There is so much potential, but put no creativity or effort into the menu. It’s a wellness resort and most of the menu is pizza, pastas and Caesar salad as the salad option. My shrimp was undercooked and had to be sent back, literally just sprinkled with some basic seasoning, cauliflower was just steamed with nothing on it and what looked like packaged minute rice. Prices are high for what you get and the place was empty because they just don’t care. Would love to see healthier options and a new chef if this place wants to survive.
Service was outstanding , wine selection awesome and atmosphere perfect
The most horrible customer service that we have experienced
Terrible service. Very unorganized restaurant. People refusing to pay and sending their food back including my party of 5. Found plastic in our salad.
Overpriced, horrible service. Nice to sit by the beach.
Sitting outdoors for a business meeting and another table of young folks sat next to us about 3 feet away. It was loud for us but we were 3/4 done. Ordinarily it is very social distanced outside.
Very limited menu. Empty when we went in. Not much of a selection on the menu. A bit of a disappointment.
The portions were entirely too small for the price.
We looked at the menu on their website as well as Open Table before we went. When we got there they had a very limited menu and the answer was "that's what the chef came up with" The bar was closed and they had no draft beer and only had two beer selections to pick from. The food was ok, but not worth the prices they were charging.
People and ambiance were great. Food is just ok especially for the price.
Beautiful restaurant with beautiful food and great service.
The restaurant is operating 50% capacity. It was mostly empty. Service was fair as the waiter seem distracted and we had to call him several times even to deliver bread, The food selection was poor. There were very few items on the menu available. We selected the Wagyu beef which was a $230 menu item for two. Although our selection was excellent I believe it was overpriced. I would recommend the restaurant when all items are available on the menu.
A lovely dinner with very healthy and delicious food options.
Made us use a set menu while surrounding tables could off the set menu from regular menu. Food lacked color and everything had a pale whiteness to it that didn’t seem normal. Tuna was overcooked yet still fishy tasting. All other food was mediocre at best...
service was horrible. Had to flag someone down anytime we needed something. Had to ask for new silverware in between each course
Lovely ambiance and great service and food.
Choice of few bites on the beach.
On nice day, beautiful spot. Food had gotten good end of last year but fell off again this year. Too much mayo and avocado and not enough lobster in lobster roll. Falafel served nicely but dry and doughy-like. And if you are a resident, should know they discontinued the discount.
Loved the patio overlooking the ocean. The buffet was beautifully presented and the food delicious. A very relaxing and pleasant experience.
Service really poor
really nice place,
outside sitting is best you see the beach and the food is fantastic
service is very nice and professional
We went here for dinner because we purchased a Travelzoo voucher, the restaurant is a hotel restaurant, not busy, very average and the service a bit slow. The Travelzoo deal is great as it was a 3 course dinner with a bottle of prosecco for 2, so a good deal but, without this voucher I don’t think I would have gone or would go back again, sorry.

It is a lovely space with no dinners. There was a table of two and a table of four besides us, a table of two.
It is a large space and felt empty.
The food was good but on the expensive side.
The dining room space cries for help.
We went to the restaurant because they are part of Miami Spice. We found after arriving that Sundays they do not offer Miami Spice prices. The restaurant was otherwise completely empty and although we brought to the manager’s attention that they are listed in the website as offering it, he was not receptive to our needs. Anyhow, I wasn’t even planning to eat off a pre fixe but my wife was, but it would have been nice for him to acknowledge that they are listed and should honor the price. In any case, we ate off menu and the food was very good. Service was subpar for a restaurant with a $65 steak (I could go to Prime and pay that for a better cut) which is why the 3 stars and not 5. Mid-meal they changed our wait staff and although it improved, all in all 8 different people passed thru our table... LOL (1 bar back, 1 runner, 1 busser, manager, 2 waiters and hostess) wait was that 7? Anyways, if you don’t mind the service and want to eat well... definitely recommended. Ohh and the drinks were good too... maybe 3 stars is a little harsh, but there aren’t any half stars.
Wonderful women’s brunch before visiting the spa
Great food and service. Outside seating is very relaxing.
We went for dinner before watching fireworks on July 4th. It’s a beautiful restaurant usually very accommodating with excellent service. Food is not consistently good unfortunately. We waited about 45 min for our entrees. The fish of the day was very good. Deboned table-side was a plus! We ordered broccoli and they served us green cauliflower- it was plain but good. There was no forewarning that it wasn’t broccoli. We ordered fried calamari which was mostly fried dough with a nice spicy sauce though. Also I ordered lobster dinner entree for $49 and it was lobster on top of mache lettuce- with a few cherry tomatoes and a ton of olives. I was not expecting a salad. But instead was expecting beautiful heirloom tomatoes and a basil sauce or pesto with lobster. I thought it would be a warm dish, a pretty plate. Would not recommend. And when I told the waiter that this is not what I was expecting -it’s just a lobster salad, he said, ”enjoy your dinner”. Won’t return for dinner at those prices.
Food was terrible.... very bland, calamari was like a rubber band, awful. Restaurant was pretty empty, servers were friendly, but not all that good. Would never go back.
We were there the weekend where you need to purchase the brunch $65.00 per person. What a disappointment. The food was laying out for hours and it was charred. We had to constantly wait to get food, the food was scarce and a very bad selection, cheap. Don’t waste your money!!!
A little pricey for what is offered but great place and food.
Need more waiters on the floor.
Good brunch. Not a lot of offerings but everything that was offered was very good. They had a special event for Mother's Day and my mom really enjoyed her time which is the most important part. Well done!
We have a breakfast with mimosas at the terrace to celebrate mother’s day, and We have the best service with Maria
The view and the beach atmosphere is great
Nice ocean view patio, pleasant ambiance, rather quick service.
Great service, great location, great food!
Food was meh. I would only come back if I had no other choice. Surprisingly mediocre food. Nothing exceptional. Kids food was ok. We got salads and neither of us finished them.
We had lunch on the outside terrace with a perfect view of the ocean and perfect amount of shade. What a difference from a month ago with great service and very tasty food. Nice music and good crowd.
The whole dining experience at the Strand was fantastic. The cauliflower appetizer is delicious (highly recommend) and the salmon and the baked chicken main dishes are great. Plus, the price is quite reasonable compared to other local restaurants. Will definitely be going back.
Still trying to get their act together. New manager and seems very excellent so hoping for the best. Will give it a month and give another try. The outdoor seating is incredible
Too slow good food good price
