We sat outside for the full moon event the guitar player was VERY loud and difficult for all of us (group of 5 to have any conversation & we were the furthest from his stage) had to ask to manager to tell him to quiet down a bit and the singer did for maybe 2 songs then right back to it! Was unfortunate as I'm sure others felt the same..

The place was empty. It was Cinco de Mayo and the manager would not let us order guacamole and chips at the table since that was from the bar menu. So then I walked to the bar ordered it and paid for it there and they delivered them at the table. How does that make sense. Kitchen and bar closed at 9pm even though this place is on Miami Beach. Advertised the whole evening as a fun night under the full moon and tables outside were a mess with the wind and all. The fact that the manager and waiters were so stuck on their „policy“ around their menus and where you could only order what food was a huge turn off. Tried it once. Never going back again and we live 5 minutes from this place. Very disappointing experience.

For the price point of this restaurant, one would expect better food. Even chain restaurants come out with fresh cracked pepper for entrees and salads. Lowering costs, and a more diverse menu would certainly help, and we would go more frequently. Lack of options and high prices typically do not equal successful dining establishments. Ocean view and outdoor dining is the highlight. Staff is also very cordial.

Overpriced for what it is. The continental breakfast at Marriott is better. I paid $65 for a basic breakfast with coffee and bottled water.

Never had a bad meal here. The service is spectacular and the food and cocktails are fresh, clean and phenomenal. One if my favorite spots in Miami, keep up the great work!

The service was terrible. My dish was missing one of the main ingredients described, and when I brought it to the attention of our waiter who finally came over, he did nothing about it. The food was only mediocre. I would never return.

When staying at the Carillon or if you are in the area I can recomend this restaurant. Very serviceminded personell, nice food and good wine. The have a pretty good winelist. The servings are also quite big.

They took my rez for 10:30 then informed us the kitchen closed (for Sunday brunch?!) at 11. Some of the party had trouble with the QR code menu and a tablet or paper option were promised but never provided. By the time our order was taken it was after 11. Staff hovered and tried to rush us the whole time. Sunday brunch should be a “thing” there with continuous service into the afternoon.

It was Mothers day and I wasn’t aware that there would be a fixed menu of $110 per person. They would bring the main, faster than we could finish the starter and everything seemed very rushed.

Was very excited to take my 16 year old to a nice dinner. Menu was small, staff was quite judgy when we said we weren’t staying at the hotel and meals were definitely not among the best we had while in Miami Beach.

The service was the best we’ve had in Miami. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, they were very accommodating, and were very quick to help. And oh that burrata salad is divine!

Service was horrible. Waited forever for our food and two people ordered the same dish but one came incomplete. It was never corrected. Luck we were served water…no ice. The only thing that saved the meal was the view Definitely will not go again!

Recently, stayed at Carillion for the first time in several years. I have always thought that dining was one of the weaker offerings at Carillion. I was pleasantly surprised to find The Strand to be very good. Great, appetizing offerings and excellent service (hard to come by in today's environment). I only ate lunch and dinner but breakfast was always busy so it must be good as well. You are in Miami Beach at peak season so cost is going to be premium+.
