   This restaurant is in the Residence Inn (Inn at Bellefield) and has both restaurant seating (although many of the tables are bistro sized) and bar seating. Seated with menus and told that if we wanted wine the list on the back of the menu was wrong. We wanted wine, so the bartender went back to the bar to get the wine menu. Not sure why he didn't bring it in the first place. As far as we could tell, there was one server, and one bartender. On a Sunday night, the restaurant was not busy, so that level was sufficient. Hopefully, in the tourist season, there will be more staff. The menu is somewhat limited, which might be a good thing as far as overextending their culinary reach. I had salmon and the skin was beautifully crisp. The menu said it came with quinoa, but I believe the side was actually couscous. Hubby had the duck and was disappointed that the skin was not crispy at all. He did like the risotto that was served with the duck. Service was relaxed, we were not rushed at all. Few wine choices by the glass. We both settled on a cab for $22 a glass. This area of Hyde Park is right across from the Culinary Institute, but not really close to other restaurants. You will get a satisfactory meal here.

   Easter Brunch was very limited and didn’t warrant the cost. Food was hit or miss felt like an upgraded holiday inn express free breakfast

   It was our first time here. The food is top notcht! The flat bread and bacon wrapped date appetizers were delicious. Our main course consisted of the duck and lamb, both cooked to perfection with delicious accompaniments .Service was also wonderful. Staff was very friendly and attentive. The cocktails were good, but didn’t feel balanced properly. The bourbon smash just tasted bad. I also didn’t like the fact that they allowed dogs in the eating area. One was a “service dog” (so understandable) and barked everyone someone walked by and another was just a pet, chilling at a table while it’s owners ate. The restaurant sits in the lobby of the hotel and various people walked past our table with their dogs as well. I do have allergies and was worried about their presence. I wasn’t aware dogs were allowed in the Storyteller. Had I know, I probably would have skipped eating at this place. The smell of wet dog (it was a rainy day) was also unpleasant to smell while eating. Most likely won’t go bacK because of it.

   Awesome I would go there just for the drinks and apps, dinner was also awesome

   Food was good and the drinks were amazing! There was live violin music that was extraordinary.

   Service was terrific. Local Millbrook Winery and their Pino Noir was on the menu and was a perfect match to the risotto dish on the menu. True, this restaurant is in the lobby area of the hotel, but the ambiance seems to work. We eat at a table as it was a quiet Wednesday evening. However the bar area looked inviting as well.

   Lovely romantic table for two with amazing food. This will conitnue to be a date night favorite.

   The Storyteller Restaurant is beautiful, and the food is delicious and beautifully presented. It is important to call front desk to inquire about activities happening at the Inn during your dining hours. It can be a quiet and lovely, or a bit chaotic, depending on what’s going on at Bellefield Inn.
