The best burger around and a great by the glass wine list. Nice outdoor seating area in the alleyway next to the restaurant.
This is a nice place to go for good drinks and food with friends or family . Never had a bad meal here and will continue to go here.
We made a late reservation and only could get on tabke on their patio.
We were sat and within minutes our server came over with water.
We order a beer, a skinny colada ( which was fantastic) and the loaded fries. Large portion took 1/2 home. Delious crispy bacon, shave parmesan cheese sour cream, chives, cheese sauce served over a bed of hand cut crispy fries.
My husband got the roast beef sandwich. Huge roast beef served with a mound of crispy onion rings and a huge portion of chips.
I got the little gem salad it was a little bigger than I thought. It had lots of fresh romaine lettuce a spicy 1/2 deviled egg, crispy bacon and a little bit of avocado and shaved veggies. It was just a little over dressed for my liking, but still good.
Service was good until it came time for our check. When she brought my husband another beer we said we were ready for the check. About 15 minutes I had to wave her down to get it.
Overall great food drinks and service. Will go back again.
Great drinks and lovely outdoor seating. Staff was attentive and sweet.
We normally love this place, but they had a bad night. The pasta we ordered was so salty it was inedible and we sent it back. Hopefully it was just a random blip and they will be back to the outstanding food we have come to expect on the next visit.
We both loved the rigatoni secco. We had the potato’s with ranchero sauce and cheese to start.
Great family friendly place with an awesome bar. Love the oyster happy hour!
We sat out on th
A nice casual restaurant (we ate indoors but outdoor on patio is also nice). Good sized portions of everything. Limited menu, a little eclectic so check before you go.
Great place to try old flavor but new way of preparing simple foods. Great punch drinks. Awesome place for family oriented setting, excellent location, town square location across for local Greater Boston Stage Company (Stoneham Theater).
The service was very good . The prime rib was perfect. Great selection of drinks. Very clean great atmosphere.
We joined in with the trivia night activity. Love the live phone based play. That really moved things along. I’m guessing the host was a BBQ nut. Every 5 question was BBQ related.
The food, beer and service were well worth the pricing.
Food and service was amazing. Cocktails are delicious. Family-friendly.
The place was great. We sat in the bar area very friendly, waiter was super. All around great experience!
Delicious food and drinks. Friendly staff and nice atmosphere.
The Stones is one of my favorite places to go with my husband for a date night, with friends for a night out, and with my family for a fun and family-friendly dinner! The food and drinks are fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is fun and friendly!
My guest had sea scallops which she said were delicious. I had the short rib gnocchi with vegetables. Also very tasty. We enjoyed the agave glows which are a Summer favorite and iced coffee and chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream for dessert. Another favorite. Waitress was attentive polite and respectful.
The food is delicious and the portions are HUGE. Plan on packing up leftovers.
This is a great place! I was traveling close by and booked this for a casual business get together - drinks, appetizers (fully loaded fries and hummus tzatziki plate were awesome) the atmosphere was upbeat and fun. There was a live band playing while we ate - which while a bit loud, really added to the evening - good tunes. The food was simply outstanding - the braised short rib and collard greens on the specials menu was lick the plate delicious, portions were generous, service was fantastic. If I'm ever nearby again, I'll definitely be back, and wish I had a place this good in my hometown - I'd be a regular.
Drinks were delicious, food was wonderful even took some home! Our Server Ellen was great, very attentive but not over the top! Cheers to all!!
We were celebrating my daughter‘s birthday at a nearby escape the room and chose this restaurant based on the reviews. We were blown away. The food was interesting, tasty and served quickly (important for the eight children who were part of our party ). The staff was very accommodating too last-minute addition of people and an asked to create three birthday desserts. We highly recommend this restaurant.
Great food, awesome food and great outdoor seating.
Overall, the experience was positive. The staff are exceptional. (my apologies for not getting the names) Our party of 5 included a 10 month old baby and initially we requested outside seating (mom was nervous about Covid and this was her first time taking her baby to a public restaurant). The weather turned crappy so mom decided she was okay with the baby inside. The hostess set up a new table inside, did it with a big smile, and was kind enough to take a picture for us on the way out. Our server was exceptional also. He was expedient, very sweet to the baby, and answered any questions we had. The bartender was very nice as well. Excellent service.
Everyone enjoyed the food with the exception of my Skinny Burger roll. It may have been butter or oil from the grill but something gave the roll a strange, plastic-like taste. Also, the handmade chips were cold and a bit stale. Otherwise, the rest of our food was good. Oh and the paper menu could use some tweaking...just my opinion. ;)
The prices are fair, the restaurant is clean, and the outside area is charming. Two thumbs up.
We went last night with a party of 7. It was great. The hand made pasta was excellent, the oysters were fresh, the meatball appetizer was delish and the cocktail menu was awesome.
I highly recommend.
Consistently outstanding! Great suburban menu from pub fare to something for the sophisticated pallet.
The staff was friendly and professional. Loved the food!
This time we had sandwiches. Veggie burger for me and roast beef for hubby. Delicious. An over abundance of chips (house made) and fries. Could do with 1/3 the amount. French pressed coffee came lukewarm but quickly replaced. Noise level is very high plus they had a five piece band starting up. Hopefully weather will cooperate and we can sit outside.
Waitress was awesome-friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious and the watermelon mint martini was sooo good. Definitely combing back-the brunch menu looks delicious.
Absolutely amazing in every aspect. Always a great experience!
A menu that’s varied and wanting us to go back. Salad and grilled chicken was delicious. French Pressed coffee topped off the evening. Fabulous waitstaff. On the noisy side so in good weather you might want to sit in the courtyard.
The food and service was great. We had a wonderful Father’s Day brunch!
First time at The Stones and we were not disappointed. Chill lunch vibe, solid cocktails, great hummus plate, and the burger was spot on. Bonus: we never felt like we were rushed which we totally appreciated. Well done!
Great food, great service. The foods was a little pricey but over all it was a great night. The trivia was very fun too
The food is always good and the service is consistently great. Have also felt warmly welcomed arriving to dine here. Did not feel rushed and always enjoy the cocktails!
The best spicy margarita anywhere! Delicious food and outstanding service!
Myself and my guest ordered the hand rolled potato gnocchi with short rib in a kitchen gravy. It was fantastic. We also enjoyed the agave glows the perfect summer beverage.
Great menu and plenty of options for drinks. We had a couple of apps, entrees, four cocktails and dessert.
Was amazing. Food service ambiance was all perfect!
Fun place with excellent cocktails!
