The Stone House Cafe
I came to The Stone House Cafe with a friend in July and couldn’t wait to come back with my boyfriend. It did not disappoint! The food was amazing as usual. I would recommend anything on their menu to anyone.
Food is consistently delicious! Parking lot is a plus.
Quick breakfast before my flight home. The place is sooo cute and the staff were great. Food was awesome, exactly what I needed to start the day!
One of our favorite places in Seattle. Will be back… And bring more friends!
Food was nice. Seating was a little tight - some seats are shared benches between tables. My 6 year old son really liked the chairs made from upcycled 55 gal drums. However when we ordered a hot chocolate for him, it was way too hot and he spat it out right away and still had a bit of a scald on his tongue.
Comfortable, good food, great atmosphere. Had lunch with friends that hadn’t seen each other in a while and we didn’t feel rushed - in fact we asked for more coffee after paying the bill so we could continue our conversations and it was no problem at all . We plan to make this a monthly event!
Such a wonderful place with amazing food and Staff.... Definitely will return in the near future!!!!..
The food was great. This was my third visit here. Service was a little slow. My friends and I had to keep asking for our lattes. My second latte was not made w/almond milk but I had waited for it for a long time I did not want to send it back. I would still come back because I really like the food and the ambiance of this place.
I made a reservation for 10 with a note that we'd actually be 12. We arrived and they didn't have a table ready. Finally, they gave us a table for... 6 people! We didn't get our full table until almost 1/2 hour after the reservation time. Service was also spotty at best.
I don’t know where the people on Yelp who wrote bad reviews about this place were eating, but there’s no way it could have been here! I had the crab eggs Benedict and it was without any doubt, the best I’ve ever had. I’m 50 years old and have eaten a LOT of eggs Benedict over the years....this chef poached the eggs better than any five star restaurant I’ve ever eaten at. The whites were firm but pillowy and the yolks were creamy and warm. Again, perfectly poached and delightfully buttery. ❤️🤗 I will dream of this meal.
Over priced for what u got.
Service was bad. They never came to clear the plates
Came here for weekend brunch. It was unfortunate that we didn't know that they only served a buffet. We couldn't order what we wanted but instead was stuck with bad buffet food. The service was also slow. It was a very negative experience.
I made my reservation online only to find they had no reservation on file :/ It sounded like I wasn’t the only one having this issue unfortunately, so if you want a table you should CALL.
Food was good, service was slow but friendly.
The poutine was great! we were sad that we couldn't try the doughnuts because they don't have them available on Saturdays. The main dishes that we got were both good but not standouts. The chicken biscuit sandwich was good. We saw a lot of other food coming out of the kitchen though and are excited to come back here, try it again, and get some of the things that we were salivating over when we saw them leaving the kitchen!
We were there for breakfast on a busy Saturday. They didn’t have our reservation and although they were trying to be quick we still had to wait for our table. Service was friendly but very slow. Food was average and we felt it was overpriced. They claim to have “Seattle’s best” biscuits and gravy, but I was underwhelmed. The sweet potato chips on top didn’t add much to the dish. I don’t think we’ll go back for breakfast, but maybe we will try for lunch sometime.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have our reservation and the staff was so busy we had to wipe our own table down & ask utensils.
