Arizona's Original Steakhouse.

Step through the copper entry doors and feel the warm authentic atmosphere of this classic American Steakhouse. Once adjacent to the largest feedlot in the world, the restaurant is a living history museum that documents Arizona's cattle industry with historical photos and a Western Art collection. Established in 1947, The Stockyards has been serving the best hand-cut aged steaks and prime rib for 70 years. The menu also features wild game, seafood, poultry, pork, and a wide variety of appetizers, salads and desserts. Be sure to visit the 1889 Saloon where you will find a solid mahogany hand carved bar, crystal chandeliers, and walls adorned with original murals that were painted in the 50's. Step back in time and relax while you enjoy an Arizona landmark. Banquet space and private dining rooms are available, and The Stockyards is always an excellent choice for groups.

Best steaks. Filet mignon was tender, perfectly cooked and delicious. Our waiter Ron provided us excellent recommendations and attentive service. You don’t see that level of service very often these days!

Amazing food and service in an historic setting. The K4 ranch ribeye was one of the best steaks I have ever eaten. The sautéed mushrooms (side item) must’ve been cooked in crack - so delicious. Scalloped potatoes melted in our mouths. Can’t wait to go back!

Both of the steaks we ordered were not cooked correctly. I had the Elk at Medium Rate it was rare. And my date had a Filet it was supposed to be medium rare it was medium. And a very bad cut of meat. Fatty and tendons. For the prices it was a very bad experience

My wife and I enjoy eating on special occasions at The Stockyards. Always great food, ambiance and service. We feel it is the best upscale restaurant in the greater Phoenix area. We try to request seating in the area where our favorite server works. We have resided in the Phoenix area over the past 40 years. We highly recommend The Stockyards!

We were looking for great steakhouse on our last day in Arizona. This restaurant was close to our hotel in Phoenix. Reviews looked good, so decided to try it out. From the time we got there, everything seemed perfect. Our waiter and staff were very friendly and helpful. The 4 of us tried 4 different entrees, 2 seafood and 2 steaks. The Sea Bass and Shrimp Scampi were very good along with the Clam Chowder and Steak soup. Salad was very good too. The steaks 1 filet mignon and 1 Ribeye were cooked to perfection but both were not melt in your mouth cuts of meat. Both were kinda difficult to even cut with your steak knife. This was the only disappointing thing and you would think when you are paying $70-$75 per steak it should have been delicious. Our bill with tip came out to $440.00. Sorry, next time we are in the area, we will give a different steakhouse a chance.

There are so few places open for lunch that serve a top notch steak. This is one of them. It is hard to beat a 16oz ribeye perfectly done for lunch. Service was great as well, and my office is 1/2 a mile away.
