Good food as usual. Great service.
If you like cowboy history and you like beef, this is the place to go. The Stockyards is a beautiful old restaurant located on property that was formally a stockyard and feed lot for the cattle industry. The interior of the restaurant has lots of cowboy art and western memorabilia. Our server, Kent, was very attentive. He knew the menu well and made some excellent suggestions. The food was properly prepared as requested. Everything we ate had a bit of a Southwest flare making it unique to our Midwest palates. It seems to be popular with Phoenix locals. For the quality of food we enjoyed, the pricing was fair. It was still a steakhouse, but we thought it was a great value for our meal. Highly recommended.
Food and service excellent. Thinking of having a family birthday there.
We go to the Stockyards restaurant a couple times a year for special occasions! Great prime rib!
always love this restaurant. One of the best in Phoenix
Reception wasn’t the most accommodating
I have been going to the stockyards since 2005 and have never been disappointed in their food or their service.
IMO....Best steak and service in the valley!
Great service and great food an a nice basic menu
Second time going there. Excellent beef, don't know about any of the other offerings because, well, it's a steak house.
A bit pricey, but we don't go that often, so once or twice a year for us it's acceptable. For the price, you do get your money's worth for the quality of the food you get.
We celebrate Valentine's Day here every year and it is always fantastic! Great food, wonderful service and perfect atmosphere!
Known for their steaks, but I had the elk medallions that were excellent! Friendly and helpful staff.
Wonderful experience as normal. Our waitress was amazing as well.
Wonderful experience. Our waiter DAN, was great. In addition to great service, he gave us a “tour” of the restaurant. Fun. Back to the dinner. Delicious. The steaks were done exactly the way we wanted. The potato stack was really good. It was a bit noisy, but other than that, we absolutely loved it.
Excellent food, service, ambience and beauty. Wonderful.
Stockyards never disappoints, their food, presentation, atmosphere and staff is simply impeccable!!! We always ask for John as our waiter and he remains completely stellar and completely in tune. Bartender Harry suites the job and atmosphere to perfection. Bottom line Stockyard's is an iconic Arizona gem and is worth every single dollar. Any restaurant that maintains this level of flawless food deserves my business and Stockyard's has certainly won my respect. I recommend them above all local steakhouses throughout the Valley. Top notch and true to Arizona's rich history. I couldn't recommend a finer restaurant!!! From the warm greeting at the door to the warm and inviting decor you know you are one with the Stockyard's and you are home.
Everything was top notch. Food was amazing, service was great, very romantic. Lighting was a bit dark but it sets the mood. Candle lit tables. A bit pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for! Highly recommended! Will be hoing back for special occasions.
Excellent food, one of the best steaks I've ever had. Great service. The only issue was the noise level, but that was just one table being Extremely Loud. Other than that, we will definitely be back
I've lived in Phoenix area for 15 years and FINALLY booked The Stockyards Restaurant for Valentine's Day Dinner this year. Well, I just can't believe I had never come here before. The food was awesome, the wait staff was super, and the atmosphere was very comfortable. Oh, I will return very soon for a nice, juicy steak!
FANTASTIC!!!!! What a way to enjoy Valentine's Day with my Wife. The Stockyards is awesome. Everyone was definitely in the spirit of the day. The bar is great and happy hour was superb. The hostess and wait staff made us feel like we were daily guests, but this was our first time there and will definitely not be the last. We had the chateaubriand and the steak just melted in your mouth. The venison and wildboar sausage was amazing. This is now one of our best places to dine and unwind.
Morton's Ruth's Chris Flemmings all have amazing steaks I cannot see the same for the Stockyards the ribeye I had tasted like it was out of the local store no marbling whatsoever it was the worst most expensive ribeye I've ever had although they've been there for 65 years they need to step up their game because of people think that's a great steak they're truly missing out
Overall great experience always a great meal that’s why I keep going back!!
Four of us came here for dinner before we went to see Hamilton. We left feeling the same way - the experience was outstanding! Our food was delicious , the service was top notch and the ambience was reminiscent of times past. 3 of us had the filet and my husband had the ribeye. All four of us found the quality and flavor of the meat perfect and our steaks prepared just the way we wanted them. They have a number of amenities you rarely see any more. When you are seated, they bring fresh veggies and dip and also, a bread basket featuring corn muffins and biscuits with honey butter on the side. Although the prices of the steaks were high, you received a salad or soup of your choice, plus a side of your choice and a topping for the steak if you so choose (I.e. bernaise, herb butter). Hopefully, we will be able to go back soon since we didn’t have time for dessert and I am sure it is just as outstanding as the main dish!
Excellent food quality and outstanding service! Just an awesome experience and we'll worth the price.
Excellent food and service!!! Our steaks were perfectly cooked and the pecan pie is wonderful...
Went there for lunch with a friend before a visit to Pueblo Grande museum. Love the soup with 1/2 sandwich, just the right amount of food. Waiter, Mark, was very pleasant and attentive.
We always enjoy taking people to Stockyards because of the historical interest and warm atmosphere.
Just wanted to say Thank you for a great evening. The service was great all the members of the staff were friendly and always asked if we needed anything. John our server was knowledgeable of the menu and provided a great experience.
We took a group to celebrate our friends recent engagement. The ambiance and decor was really cool, we all love western so it was especially nice for us. Our waiter Mark was fantastic. I've dined at many upscale steakhouses and he was one of the best. The food was great, a very nice selection and some unusual choices as well. It was pretty pricey but that comes with the territory. I would definitely recommend it to anyone and would go back myself but save it for a special occasion.
We went there for my 65th birthday this week because I was there in early December by recommendation and was very pleased. Coincidentally I had the same server and I ordered the same dinner and it was outstanding again. Kudos to the Stockyards for a delicious Chateaubriand and all the trimmings for 2 and a special dessert. It made the night very special.
