The Stinking Rose
Got the wrong streak twice! But overall it was good Abbas we had a nice time. Think it’s a better family place than date place
Good service, food was good as always. Little candies are cool for cover up the stinky smell )))
I always enjoy going to The Stinking Rose. The food is spectacular. Of course you have to be a fan of garlic to go there, which I am. Ambiance is nice and service is always good. I thoroughly recommend this restaurant. It's one of my favorites.
Even with reservations we waited an hour for our table. Then the kitchen forgot my sons order and his food came out when everyone in our party was done eating. The food was mediocre compared to the price.
My reservation was checked in for someone else so when i came in, the worker told me i didnt have an reservation when in fact i did. The location, time, and date of the restaurant appointment was all right as well.
Have dined here at keast 50 times and never had a bad meal or service. However, this was our first time going there on Thanksgiving and that is one holiday we will not return on. Food was cold and service second rate. Go on a normal day and you won't be disappointed.
Barramundi... dry and fishy....never again!
Turkey dinner.... average
Turkey very dry.... Had to ask for the gravy as it didn’t come with it originally…And the waiter kept saying oh yes I’ll bring you more gravy… As if it had been on there originally which it wasn’t… He would not admit that it came without gravy when it was originally presented… Advice: the customer is always right…
We’ve eaten there many times with great success but this was a major disappointment as it was our Thanksgiving meal… Get rid of that Baramundi
Our waiter Mario was fantastic, as well as Joaquin who was our server ! What a pro. Mario definitely knows what he is doing when it comes to waitering and customer service. Great people skills. Everything was fantastic from our food to our service. Thank you Mario & Joaquin for the wonderful service and excellent suggestions on the food menu. We had a Great and memorable Thanksgiving Dinner at the Stinking Rose!
Food was excellent. Service was great. Nice ambience.
The food and service was fantastic as usual! We went for Thanksgiving dinner and had the 400 clove turkey dinner which we enjoyed.
Our yearly tradition is to go here for Thanksgiving but after this year we probably won't go back. We were rushed through our entire meal despite the restaurant being fairly empty when we got there. Our salads, appetizer and meal were all brought out within 10 minutes of us sitting down meaning our food got cold while we were trying to enjoy our appetizer. We only saw our server twice, once when he opened our wine and confirmed we wanted the thanksgiving meal and when he dropped off our check. From the time we sat down until our check was dropped on our table it had only been about 40 minutes. We felt like we were bothering everyone by showing up.
We had a great time at the Stinking Rose Beverly Hills. The Thanksgiving dinner was great and the best part is that we didn't have to cook or cleanup. Service was good as well.
The best prime rib, both in quality and value. Lawry's across the street doesn't compare. Also, Stinking Rose is the only restaurant in Beverly Hills which never charges corkage for wine.
Love the decor and the food is delicious! Had the roasted garlic crab and a side of mashed garlic potatoes..both were spectacular! Would definitely return again.
Wonderful food, attentive staff
Worth the drive, worth the cost and the next chance I get, I will be back. Garlic crusted sea bass and mashed potatoes (yes, I was allowed to substitute) were AMAZING. Neck bite mixed drink was deliciously bitter. All followed by delicious garlic ice cream (just try it!)
Best birthday experience I’ve ever had!
Food and service is exceptional!
Definitely I’m coming back and highly recommended
Birthdays celebration for my daughter made reservation online great way to do it on open table. Once we got to the restaurant the hostess was not too friendly she didn’t even look at us just told the gentleman to show us to our table a bit rude I would say. Our waiter Andrew was very helpful with the menu and was able to recommend items since it was our first time dining there. I would go back and recommend the places to friends and family.
Great for a date night. I thought it was two $s but it came to be pretty expensive.
Great food, attentive wait staff, and would highly recommend dining at the Stinking Rose.
We have always had a positive experience every time we go.
Their garlic dishes are amazing and never disappoints.
In town and I’ve been to the SF on so had to stop in to try this location. Everything tasted so good and well satisfied.
Restaurant was recommended by a friend while we were visiting Beverly Hills so we decided to give it a try.. if you like garlic this restaurant is a must
Loved it. The staff was great. We appreciated the fact that parking was available.....
One of our top 5 favorie restaurants! Delicious food and excellent service.
Freakin' fantastic. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything. The ooonnnllllyyyy thing I'd change is the table size, lol. It was slightly crammed, but we did order a lot of stuff so I understand.
Anyway, it was awesome, and I'll definitely be back!!!
A wonderful dining experience! Delicious food, excellent service and delightful atmosphere. What a terrific way to celebrate my birthday. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.
Wonderful service from the time we pulled into the parking lot. We had had a long drive and staff was very accommodating is getting us relaxed from the stressful drive.
Food was delicious and while prices were high the food was excellent.
We will be back again.
Love this restaurant! Food is delicious and they don’t have a corkage fee! We had the sizzling shrimp and it was yummy! We brought a bottle of good wine to enjoy with the food. The salted caramel cake was great. All in all fantastic meal and very reasonable. I will definitely be back!
Our server Andrew was amazing and made great recommendations. The food was good but not exciting. Overall enjoyed our first visit.
Garlic, pasta AND no corkage fee for wine? Sold! Only negative for my party of 16 was that they were 30 minutes late setting up our table. I made the reservation 1 week prior and even called the day before to confirm. Frustrating since they close early, and we were all starved. Extra points for not rushing us and allowing us to stay an extra hour after closing!
I will definitely recomend to eat at the stinking Rose. Food is great.
Great food and service as always!!! The garlic totally rocks!!!
Loved it! Very charming atmosphere and food was amazing!
I’ve been to the Stinking Rose numerous times and I love it there. Food always good, service always great.
This was surprisingly awesome! The staff especially our server Mariana and the manager Stephen were so incredibly accommodating! The food was so great, drinks perfect and service, beyond! I can’t believe that after 20 years of living in Los Angeles, I have never been here because I thought it was some sort of tourist destination. IT’S NOT!! It’s awesome! After you finish your meal, go into the bar and have a nightcap with Gary (the one man band extraordinaire) leave him a tip, because he’s that incredible! The whole establishment feels like a warm, cozy “Cheers” like the hometown you came from before you moved to LA!I I actually can’t wait to go back! I’m so glad I came here tonight, what a fun place! Cheers!
Great food with amazing service
Great food. Best meatloaf. Bar should have better selection especially scotch.
My husband and I arrived about 20 minutes or so early for our reservation, but were quickly seated by the friendly and polite host. Our server, Jasmine, was very quick to stop by, greet us, and bring us water while we looked at the menu, and then helped us choose a very good Pinot Grigio to go with our meal. We shared a large salad and the warm fresh garlic rolls to start, and each had the garlic prime rib. The prime rib was served exactly how each of us wanted it with the standard sides of mashed potatoes and spinach. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The portions are pretty good, so we had to box half of our plates to go. Since they knew it was our anniversary, they brought candles, garlic hats, and a scoop of their garlic ice cream with caramel sauce. After all the garlic throughout the meal, you really can't taste the garlic in the ice cream. We were so happy and satisfied with our meal. We highly recommend it for others.
The food was mediocre and overpriced. The best dish we had was the appetizer of roasted garlic and rolls.
The service was excellent. Every employee was extremely attentive.
