The Stinking Rose
Horrible food and cheap waitress trying to say no for whatever we asked her ! Even the hot sauce. Everything looked so old and dirty, clamps made my husband have a food poising! Overall disgusting
It was great ambiance, great food, a little loud, due to a large party in a small room, but we had a great time, I love that you don't charge a corkage fee! Thank you, I have already recommended it to friends!
Nothing special unfortunately. Note to management: you should fix the men’s room door so the whole restaurant doesn’t reek of urinal cakes and toilet bowl cleaner.
Good for a special night, pretty pricey for what it is, but the atmosphere is great and the decor is whimsical.
Starting off with Garlic Rose Relish and bread, we really enjoyed each dish at the Stinking Rose. The sea bass was out of the world, and two members of our party had steak which they proclaimed as some of the best they have tasted. The cocktails were awesome. Service was top notch, and we really appreciated the valet parking. The only "con" was that we got a note from OpenTable asking why we didn't show up, as we certainly did.
Everything was good, but the price was excessive for the food. I certainly was not impressed by the $$$$ value
We got engaged earlier that day on the beach. We celebrated our engagement at the Stinking Rose with a tender steak, a stiff cocktail and some yummy sides.
Service was great!
Loved my steak!
Garlic ice cream, suggestion, have it FIRST so you can taste it! Still delicious though!
If you love garlic, this is a must visit place. I recommend the prime rib. Amazing.
Good Food! Not our first time here, sometimes the restaurant can be a bit noisy - but we went early in the evening this time so it wasn't so bad. They forgot to bring my daughters salad out before the main course, but they did not charge us for our deserts because of the mistake. Overall it was a good experience.
Love the Stinking Rose. This was my second time there, but have wanted to go there for many years. The food is delicious, the service was fantastic and the ambiance was just awesome. I highly recommend The Stinking Rose!
It was a fun and enjoyable experience. I would recommend it to everyone. Looking forward to going again.
The 40 clove chicken was good. The pork chop wasn’t good. The seasoning they put on the chop wasn’t a good pairing. The drinks were great!! Ask for Parmesanto
Basic date night and indulged in the garlic! Cloves in oil and the complimentary bread was great. Spicy and blood orange martini were delicious. You get two for the price of one at most restaurants in the area. The petite sirloin was cooked ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. I could eat the everyday. Adding some cloves in oil with the potatoes and creamed spinach and you have a perfect bite. The mussels and shrimp skillet was a little over cooked simply because the skillet is super hot but the butter sauce, garlic and soy sauce turned the flavors on point. Will go again!
Go hungry! One of my favorite restaurants. My favorite dishes are as follows, Meatloaf, Shrimp in any dish.
Love, love, love the stinking rose! Every moment, every bite was beyond exceptional! #lovegarlic
This place comes highly recommended and didnt disappoint. Food was good, service was excellent, even the vallet experience was smooth. I had the clams with black pasta and shallot sauce and I loved it. My friends steaks were bomb 2. Will go there again
Garlic fries were a disappointment. Other than that, everything was amazing. Ordered a petit filet and cheese pizza
Have frequent your establish many time over the years always had a wonderful time. This time around I was totally disappointed. It was my Mother 60TH Birthday and she was not feeling the food it was cold we had to send it back. I always raved on the wonderful food and great ambience, I will not be returning anytime soon.
We went here and another high-end restaurant during our trip to Los Angeles. This restaurant blew the other out of the water on all accounts. If we were locals, we'd frequent it and would tell anyone to go for any occasion.
What a unique taste and surrounding. Love it and will come back. FREE Bread is awesome. GARLIC IS GOOD.
First time at the stinking rose and will definitely be returning. The filet melted in my mouth. Had the spinach fondue and tried some crab as well. Everything was amazing! High recommended!
Our first time. We have been wanting to go for a long time. So we got a chance because our relatives where in town from Mobile,Al to LAX before flying out to China for 10 days. A wonderful time by all . Food , decor & great service staff. My cousins even purchased 2 garlic hat's that I will be mailing to them soon.
Thank You very much
Paul & Corine
Food is really good. I love the crabs and the steamed clams! I love all the garlic! Its such a unique place. They even have garlic ice-cream. Soooo good! Service was good.
I would defenetely recomend this place to a friend and also go back. The food was delicious. Beautiful place. I 💞💞💗
So wonderful!!! Love this place, only negative is the location because I strongly dislike driving to LA area for any reason. We spent our entire anniversary day just to eat here!! Staff was absolutely friendly and went out of their way to make it a great experience!
I had a wonderful time celebrating my birthday
This is a unique restaurant with its "garlic in everything" theme. Unique -- and surprising. Even as a garlic lover I tend to think of garlic as a strong, even overpowering ingredient, but The Stinking Rose uses garlic -- even sometimes a lot -- with a finesse that compliments everything they serve. It's not just about the garlic. It's about serving up a delicious meal with a variety of flavor with garlic dominant in one, relegated to the background in another, but perfect everywhere.
I’ve been meaning to try this place for a while! Loved the ambience, and almost private tables. We order the fettuccini with meat balls and salmon dish to split. LOVED the salmon and sides! The fettuccini was pretty good. Overall what I expected.
Eating at TSR has been on my wish list for years (I’m from Australia). Finally made it, great food & well looked after by Mario
Amazing experience! Wer will be back the next time we're in West Hollywood
A server who can be honest about the menu!? That’s the best
Excellent! The waiter was wonderful and Steve, the manager, was so helpful and nice. We will be back!
I will start by saying, our waitress was amazing. She was so sweet and very attentive, as was all the staff we dealt with. The food was awful. I wouldn’t recommend anything I the menu. Super bland, and for the price... awful. I ordered an appetizer the garlic meatballs. For $15.99, there were 4 mini meatballs (RIDICULOUS) and they were disappointing. Good thing we filled up on the never ending bread!
It was are first time eating here
The food was great we wear celebrating are 8tn year anniversary we had a great time.
Food and service was spot on! Thanks for the birthday dessert! We’ll ll definitely be returning 🙂
Its a fun place to go for a party or bring out of town guests
We wanted something different so we headed here! We ate early because we were going to NerdNite at 7. We split a small salad (should have ordered the larger one) and the veggie lasagne. Both were great! We loved the bread too. I don’t understand why everyone goes on and on about the garlic... it was the right amount in everything we ordered and not too much. From where we were sitting, all the tables had privacy because each one was surrounded on 3 sides by a cute awning. It is a fun place and service was fantastic!
Food was alright. Drinks were horrible. Prime rib was the best thing we ordered but overall it was an ok experience. Probably won’t come back. One time type of experience. Just for the hype.
