Excellent meal, service, and ambiance. We like that it is small and intimate.

We had a wonderful dining experience at The Steakhouse on Whitmarsh. The food was out of sight and the service was perfect. We loved hearing the very talented Annie Allman while enjoying delicious food, drinks and conversations. Thank you for a fabulous night out. We will be back soon!

Service was horrible, food was ok. Choice meat , not prime.

We have been searching for an amazing steak in the Savannah area for 12+ years now and have FINALLY found it! The steaks here are FABULOUS. Amazing flavor and perfectly cooked. We live in the historic district and our first dining experience was through a delivery order and the steaks were to die for. Just a few days later we booked a reservation with a group of friends from the island and the food and drinks were still amazing! Loved the live music / guitarist. We had a very nice evening. NICE WORK again Chris & Cherise!!!

Steak was great.Service was good but needed more servers. Drinks very good.

Not anything outstanding....service okay; margarita was not good. Steaks over cooked, no baked potatoes, and no bread served with meal. Bummer. Got Applebee’s carside on the way home.

The server was wearing her make under her chin the whole time, she grabbed our glasses by the top to refill using her hand on the rim of our glass.
The owner chef was wearing his mask under his nose. The guitar player wasn’t wearing a mask at all.
The portions are tiny. We will not be returning!

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover fits here. Food is outstanding. Deserts are made in-house and as good as any I’ve eaten. Music and atmosphere are excellent. The owner walks around talking to everyone and service is great. This is a must try place.

5 star quality without the pretense. Quaint atmosphere.

Though I had my doubts when we pulled up in front, once inside I was relieved. Simply stated decor and very clean and neat. The service was excellent, as well as the food. My siblings and I all travel around the world and dine out often, and we were all impressed with the quality of the food. The service was friendly and professional and the entertainment was enjoyable and added to the experience. We were at a very prestigious establishment the evening before at very high prices, horrible service and good food with great historical atmosphere, and all agreed that The Steakhouse, was the better evening out. Fabulous live music, charming employees, and absolutely delicious food. All of our steaks were done to perfection. They host local art at no charge - we bought a fantastic pen and ink right off the wall at an extremely reasonable price.

We always enjoy going to The Steakhouse at Whitemarsh. The food is absolutely on point every time and the staff is amazing. We never miss a chance to stop by for a drink and good conversation with Chris and Sherice. Such a wonderful place to have on our little island!

Wonderful food and service

Best steak I have had in years!!!! Quiet atmosphere and safe distances seating per the guidelines.

We chose this restaurant based on the other reviews, and we found those reviews were completely inaccurate.

1st: the gentleman that received us at the door stated he hates OpenTable within the first moments of our interaction.

Our server chose to wear her mask under her nose, as did most of the staff we observed. She also was extremely inattentive. The time from sitting down, to the time we were able to get our check to pay and leave was 1 hr. 50 mins. We had to ask for refills. We did not get follow up after our entrees arrived.

The prime rib was honestly the least memorable steak I’ve ever had. The green beans were good. My husbands ribeye had great flavor, but the size was unimpressive.

We were in Savannah to celebrate my 40th birthday and chose this restaurant because the reviews made it seem like it would have been a great compliment to our weekend. However, it is just an average, hole in the wall place, with mediocre service, and food.

If you are looking for dinner on an average night, you’d get average food and service here and probably what you’re looking for.

If you are wanting to go somewhere for a special occasion, this is not the place at all.

We were very happy with the Steakhouse. The food was delicious and the live music was wonderful. We will be back.

Extraordinary steaks and desserts.

The food and service were outstanding. Absolutely the best steak I've eaten. My wife and I came here a few weeks ago and tried the prime rib and the filet which were outstanding as well. We tried the ribeye for two this time and it was out of this world. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Christmas Eve dinner

We went for our anniversary on a whim. This place is one of Savannah’s best kept secrets! I had no idea a restaurant this amazing could be in a strip shopping area. Service was awesome and attentive. I had trouble choosing a wine and the owner came out, asked me some questions and brought me a taste of what he thought I’d like. It was perfect! I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed just being at the Steak House. We loved getting to know the people here and felt like we were old friends in a neighborhood pub. Now to the best part - the steaks! I can’t even tell you how amazing our meals were! This is on our go to list when we want steak out again. Highly recommend!

Hidden gem. Can’t believe we haven’t gone sooner. The prices, ambience and food were all stellar. The owners were sweet and accessible. Social distancing was followed nicely. We used to go to alligator soul for special occasions but this is our new spot

Our favorite steak house in the area by far. Serbia is friendly and approachable. Food is delicious and prices are very reasonable. Don’t skip over this place. Unassuming location in a strip mall but deserves to be your go to steak restaurant.

Excellent! Food was outstanding. Service was impeccable. Ambience was above and beyond.

We had the filet and ribeye, and both were excellent. Also have a nice wine selection. They have an extremely talented musician that plays 70's mellow music, and it's soft enough that you can still talk. The service is also excellent. Strongly Recommend!

Fantastic meal and experience. The owner went out of his way to ensure we had a memorable anniversary. Excellent wine knowledge and pairings. Looking forward to going back very soon.

They did not have our reservation even with my confirmation number, so we were sat in front of the live music, making conversations impossible. The prime rib had no taste but my wife's ribeye was absolutely amazing. Our order come out after two tables that were sat after us one being seven people with a mix up in who got what.
