Outstanding. Perfectly cooked steak and sides paired with Daou Cabernet made my husband’s evening. The lime infused red quinoa with grilled salmon was amazing. Service was impeccable.

After reading reviews we were hesitant to book a table, but hedged our bets and won. We ordered the Filet Mignon and Prime Rib. Both had great flavor and cooked to perfection, which can sometimes be challenging when requesting medium (pink, warm center). Oftentimes medium can be over - or under- cooked. Our sides included garlic mashed potatoes, loaded baked potato, green beans and asparagus. All tasted fresh and were well prepared. In addition to the main course we ordered salads (spinach and wedge) and dessert (brown butter cake). Portion sizes, presentation of food, and the timing to the table between courses was appropriate. The highlight was the service. Our waitress, Alize, was attentive to our table, friendly, professional and provided quality service, which is rare these days. The 4 star for ambience was simply due to location of table (side location) and linens which were not stabilized on the table top. While in Paso Robles, stop by at the Inn at the Steakhouse for a reliable, good meal.

Good wine selection from Paso Robles. The Calamari appetizer was terrific, cooked perfectly. I has the wedge salad with sirloin and the portion of sirloin was very generous and perfectly cooked. My husband had the sirloin with garlic mashed and asparagus and unfortunately the asparagus was cold. Both of us thought the steak could have used a little more seasoning.

We went to the Steakhouse for our Thanksgiving meal. The main meal was delicious and had all the traditional trimmings. Service was good. Enjoyed the ambiance especially the fireplace. I was disappointed in our desserts. We had the pecan pie there and took home a slice of pumpkin pie. For $13 dollars I expected something spectacular or bigger. The pecan pie was good but I didn’t care for the pumpkin. Slices were average size and not enough whipped cream for me.

We have made Thanksgiving at the Inn a tradition for over 15 years and have always enjoyed the experience. This year was one of the best yet. Our server was a delight and the meal was excellent. Be advised, Thanksgiving needs to have your reservation submitted early! It is popular!

I wanted to be happier. The appetizer plate of Brussels sprouts is too large to be called an appetizer. I requested my salmon well-done and it came back undercooked. Just wasn’t thrilled overall. The ambiance is beautiful, but I had made specific mention of my daughter’s birthday in the notes/special request and our server made no mention. Disappointing since you ask for that information in the Open Table reservation.

We enjoyed the meal and being there on Wed and having Prime Rib was great. The horseradish sauce was super spicy. I like it and had to ask for more sour cream to tame it down. We were early diners so our salad and entree arrived very close together.

This is a great historical location. It would be nice to enter the building and not be blasted with a musty pungent smell. There must be something management could do to freshen up the lobby and restaurant area. Just a suggestion

So delicious and a great environment. We are definitely adding the paso inn to our “night out” repertoire. Also, much more reasonably priced than the other steakhouses around, and I would claim that it was even better. My husband and I both got the top sirloin and it was perfect for both of us, and all the sides we got were incredible. The asparagus especially was the best I have ever had. 10/10

Food and service was five star. Oscar filet and short ribs melted in your mouth like butter. Drinks were filled on a regular basis and our server Joey was attentive. Wait time for food was average time. The window seat was an added touch. It's been a long time since I've had a steak this good. It seemed like the employees like working here and it showed.

Asked for sparkling water got two glasses no sight of bottle, had to ask twice for lemon and lime wedges. Ordered a bottle of Tobin James wine, Ballistic Zinfadel didn't have it in stock. Food was good, asparagus stalks were huge and stringy coulded swallow them. Bill came with no pen had to go chase someone down so I could sign the check.

Unfortunately I did not have they experience I was hoping to have at The Steak House at Paso Inn. Waitress was very nice and accommodating however my salad took over 1 1/2 hour to receive. I ended up leaving without my main dish dinner.

Good Value compared to more expensive steakhouses. Cocktails were good. The shrimp appetizer was good. Steaks and sauces were good. The baked potato could have used about 10 more minutes, and the steaks were over cooked. Over cooking is a common thread in other reviews and a cardinal sin for a steakhouse. Ever over cooked they were good steaks, would have been five stars if served pink and not well done. I would may try again, but would make sure the waiter knew what I wanted.

If you like overpriced and cold food with horrible service this is the place for you. Took my family there for the first time for my wife’s birthday. I made a reservation and had high hopes for an amazing meal. But that’s not what we got. Saying service was slow is an overstatement, service was barely existent we we about to get up and walk out when I noticed our food finally coming out an hour and a half after we sat down. Food was cold, staff never apologized for the long wait. If I could give a negative tip I would have. My family and I will never come back and will tell everyone we know not to go there and waste their hard earned money at this poor excuse for a steakhouse. This place deserves no stars and does not deserve your business. But again if you like overpriced cold food with basically nonexistent servers then this is the place for you. Don’t make the mistake we did thinking this was a reputable establishment.

Great place for dinner, we were seated next to the wine closet so it was a bit chilly for me and my wife. Overall great dinning experience other than the cold seating area. just avoid that area next time and 5 stars are a very good possibility.

We were seated immediately upon arrival. Luis, our waiter was great. Corkage fee for your first bottle of Paso Robles wine is complimentary, which is almost unheard of. Overall, a wonderful dinner.

We both had the prime rib and it was delicious. We had a great meal and wine with great service. We loved it so much we went back for breakfast the next day and sat outside in the picture perfect garden area. Breakfast was great as was the service!!
