The Steakhouse at Paso Robles Inn
The waitress was phenomenal! Very cordial and met our needs. However the restroom being out of order was an issue. Hopefully its fixed soon. I know you can use the one upstairs, but some prefer not to climb them.
Graduation party. Has a wonderful time, Great service, enjoyed the accommodating staff.
Dinner at the Paso Robles Inn was excellent and our server was the best.
Being the most historic location in Paso Robles, and being right in the middle of one of the best wine regions on the planet, you would think they would know better then to serve wine that has been opened for 4 days. Two orders of wine by the glass, and both had oxidation and no acid. There is just no excuse for that. They need to do some major retraining.
Excellent meal all round! Preparation, presentation, taste, service and ambiance
Good food, great service. We found our go-to steakhouse in Paso Robles.
I think the restaurant was understaffed for Mother's Day and didn't make the experience special. Alot of items were missing from the buffet.
Enjoyed the Steakhouse on a recent visit to Paso. We had a nice table overlooking the park and enjoyed our steaks. Service was a bit slow and my order was partially wrong, for which the server apologized - there were several special events so was quite busy with other diners on a schedule.
What was really nice was the opportunity to bring one bottle of local wine with no corkage fee, so we enjoyed one we had chosen earlier in the day during some wine tastings. That made the dinner a good value. I would return.
A little pricey for what you get, but delicious 👍🏻
Just like to thank the staff and our waitress for making our Anniversary a special one, we will definitely plan a trip back to indulge ourselves again. Thank you!!!!
Bloody Mary was delish! Calamari was bland and fishy. Brussels sprouts were perfect! Rib eye was quite tasty but not the best I've ever had. Mashed potatoes were yummy. Service was excellent, but we were there early on Friday before it got crowded.
The Steakhouse is one of our favorite places. The recently remodeled interior is lovely, and the service excellent. There is no corkage fee for your first bottle of wine that you bring, and only $15 for any subsequent ones. The portions are large enough to share, so you can get top quality cuisine for an incredibly affordable price.
BEST experience yet after having Sunday brunch here 20+ times! Our server KATHY went above and beyond. We request her every time, and each brunch she brings a wonderful smile, professionalism, attention to detail (dirty plates, silverware, beverages topped off) . She may have 10 other tables as she helps us, but you would never know. She takes time to really know her customers and their preferences. I truly cannot say enough. I hope this review will help to get her recognized by the company. Thank you Kathy!
Luis, the Chef (?) was handling the station with the Prime Rib, Ham, Lamb and omelettes. Great service. Professional and just really nice. Sydnie was Kathy's (our server) busser, I believe. She was awesome. Morgan was bussing-he is the Best! Really nice, helpful and overall great customer service. If she isn't a server yet, she needs to be and when she is, she will be awesome!
Halley was the manager during Easter brunch. I have seen her working pretty much every brunch we have been there. She checks us in without a glitch or trouble finding us on the list. Always a smooth transaction. I've never tried to visit with her because she was so busy. That restaurant runs like none I have ever seen. There is never chaos, confusion or drama with the staff and her that is visible to a customer. I'd be very surprised to know if there ever was. I made sure to thank her for such a wonderful experience yesterday and got to talk with her for a few minutes. I didn't know she was so sweet! She took a minute out of her crazy busy day to visit with me. Our talk was really fun and so nice. This added so much to my dining experience, this meant alot to me.
Thanks to all mentioned. I brought my mom to brunch after church yesterday for Easter as I had said. I live out of town, so spending time with my mom is very special to me. Our experience and the excellent customer service we received made this such a memorable day; I'm really grateful to you all! See you on Mother's Day!
We went to the Steakhouse for our 30th anniversary dinner, and it was perfect for us. We had a quiet table, excellent service (including bottle service!), and tremendous food. My steak was perfectly cooked and thoroughly enjoyable. The Steakhouse even provided a very nice anniversary gift to us after dinner. I've only been back to work a few days and I've already recommended this great place to many of my coworkers.
Great location, food was just average. Did not meet my Midwestern standards for a steakhouse.
The service was wonderful and the food choices great. Especially loved the wine.
Decent food. Not what we call a Steakhouse, lots of food choices.
When you’re at a steak house order a steak. We did and both the filet and the ribeye were fantastic! They make a mean martini and the sides and dessert did not disappoint. Our server, Annie, enhanced our visit with her friendly, professional service.
We were in town for an event and decided to try the Paso Robles Inn Steakhouse for dinner one night. As we were looking at the steaks, we noticed they were Choice. I was surprised by this as I can get a Choice steak at Albertsons or Kroger. But I don’t shop for beef at those grocery stores. (My preference is sustainable, pasture-raised, grass-fed beef but if I have to buy a steak at the grocery, I won’t buy lower than Prime.) Nonetheless I ordered a NY Strip and it was cooked perfectly bass don my request. It was fine but the quality just wasn’t there (because...well, Choice). The veggies were very good and the service was fantastic. I don’t expect to pay over $100 (2 people) for Choice grade beef at a restaurant.
Beautiful restaurant with outstanding food and service. Big fire going in the fireplace and great seating. Highly recommend this restaurant.
We enjoyed a table next to the fireplace.
Prime rib, baked potato and wood fire roasted asparagus.
Chocolate Molten Cake with vanilla ice cream is a must to order and to share.
We had great service.
No corkage fee on our locally purchased wine from a Winery.
Old Paso Robles interior.
A very nice place but a very average meal. None of the food was outstanding after the starters which were quite good.
Food and atmosphere was great, waitress could of been a little more attentive considering it wasn’t really busy being a rainy evening but would definitely go back
Absolutly the most abysmal service EVER in any restaurant. We waited 20 plus minutes for even a glass of water and 3 waiter/waitresses came over to asked if we had been helped!
Service was good. Food was not good, No Flavor. Ordered the Duke. Steak and mashed potatoes were cold. The other couple ordered the Halibut and the Ribs. Halibut was dry and Ribs were tough. Very disappointed, because the Steakhouse was recommended
Very nice place! Loved that even though it’s a steak house they had a vegitarian main dish on the menu.
won’t be rushing back.. Server was nice, could tell she wanted to go home...
The best part of the food was the brussselsprouts appetizer. Amazing.
Some food came out cold. Not even lukewarm. We sent back to get reheated. One dish was still cold.
The service was horrible. We sat down and took 20 minutes to get someone to take our order for dinner. Then took forty minutes from ordering for food to come out. We had a reservation. We were told a party of 18 came to the restaurant and got turned away so they went to the bar and ordered their food. Once they sat in the bar, they should’ve been told that there were reservations ahead of them that would be taken care of first and their food would come out in bits and pieces. Poorly ran.
We will not return.
Everything we ordered was amazing! The prices are very affordable for a steakhouse, and it is the perfect atmosphere for any occasion.
I can't find enough great words to say....This is the second year i come out for my birthday and i have zero regrets. Thank your for the great visit....The food, drinks, hospitality and all was great...
Thanks Again see you again real soon...
Ray and Randa
We had the Brussels Sprouts (appetizer) which was outstanding! The rack of ribs was another story. They were the worst ribs as far as taste we have ever had. The ribs were dry and the bbq sauce they used was very "tomato," texture and taste. We would not recommend the ribs.
The prime rib was really good but pretty fatty too. The Asparagus was great! Thank you!
Our server Michele was exceptional. She was very courteous and knowledgeable. We were looking for a quiet place to relax and talk and PR Inn didn’t disappoint.
I took my girlfriend out for Valentine’s Day.
Showed up a little early for our reservation, and the staff was awesome and sat us immediately. Our server was also great food was perfectly made, great experience will do this again when in the area.
Extremely poor, disinterested and unprofessional service.
The service was excellent in both the lounge and restaurant. It was nice to be able to talk without speaking loudly. Our server was nice and the restaurant staff are all attentive. Our bartender provided friendly service. The butter lettuce salad has a variety of tastes and was quite enjoyable. The 14oz ribeye was too chewy and seemed more like a breakfast steak you’d get with eggs for $16.99. Took it home to have the next morning. We were excited about the Grand Marnier bread pudding. So sad. Sent the waiter to ask the chief where the Grand Marnier was and was told it was in between the layers. No matter how hard we tried this was just plain warm bread pudding with ice cream. The manager was nice by adjusting our bill and that is why I rated everything as good except for the steak. Don’t think we will return but certainly would not be for a steak.
I have had salmon In Alaska, Canada, Norway and in many places in California but the chef at the PR Inn did it the best!
We love the consistent quality of the experience. It was especially cozy by the fireplace on a cold night. Dinner was delicious.
