The Steakhouse at Paso Robles Inn
Prime Rib French Dip*
thinly sliced slow roasted prime rib, creamy horseradish, swiss cheese, au jus, served on a local italian roll
grilled top sirloin, garlic toast, chipotle aioli, tomato and shallot salad
Grilled Atlantic Salmon
with green onion rice, grilled asparagus and lemon-caper white wine sauce
Substandard steakhouse. Limited menu options. Poor wine selection, esp for a steakhouse. Nice enough service, but wouldn’t recommend overall.
Food was not cooked
always happy with my meal have eaten there 4 times now would love to stay in your hotel sometime , i work in hotel and always send my guests over when i can,
Waitress asked for an occasion . There was two: birthday & anniversary. No recognition! Asked for more bread: none given. Garlic potatoes tasted like instant potatoes. Steak knives were dull.
3 out of 4 of us had a great dinner. My wife ordered a Filet medium well, it came out charred well. Sent it back they brought out another that was medium rare. Then they suggested to bring her out something different. Not sure why they couldn’t get a Filet to cook to medium well without a char but that was an issue. So they brought her Prime Rib that was well done. By that time she wasn’t in the mood since the rest of us were about finished. They charged us for the Prime Rib which was less than the Filet but after all that, I think they should have just taken her dinner off the bill. Especially since it was her Birthday!!!
Steak house has a beautiful atmosphere. The menu was small but something for everyone. Service was excellent.
Food was okay. For a steakhouse I was expecting a little more flavor but still not bad
Service was very slow due to lack of workers, my steak came burned and cooked medium instead of medium rare as requested. During these tough times it’s not surprising. I would give them a second chance
Prime rib was tuff and stringy potato was under cooked
Sat for at least 20 minutes before be approached. Waitress was not personable, food was cooked poorly and not worth the prices!! Definitely recommend trying somewhere else. Only thing good about this place is the name!!
Everything was good and satisfactory.
The baked potatoes were luke-warm and the sauer cream liquid.
So sorry that it is not pr
Very enjoyable. Service is one of the best in the area. Food was prepared perfectly. My Filet mignon was cooked perfectly. My wife's salmon was cooked at the suggestion of our server and she was spot on. We're no longer passing through Paso Robles, we plan to make this our regular stop.
We sat outside on the back patio - what a beautiful setting! All the food was very good, the service was fantastic, and I would definitely visit again!
Very good meal. Service also was very good. Solid 5 star evening.
Terrible prime rib and they did t want to honor our outdoor seating reservation. We won’t eat there again.
Delicious meal, wonderful server. Must have the brussel sprouts appetizer - different from any other. Was really a good meal and we left over-full because we just couldn't stop! Now that's a compliment!
Great food, ambience and venue. A must visit when in town.
Great food! Understaffed so the bartender had to serve us and take care of the bar. Tables sat uncleared. Felt bad for the staff as they were doing the best they could. Many restaurants are struggling to get more employees. Enjoyed our dinner though!
A little pricey, food was good, and service was great.
The food was good, our server Joey was outstanding. He was friendly and attentive with a smile on his face.
Service was great, the steaks, not so much. My son and I both ordered the ribeye, medium rare. Both steaks cooked perfectly, but we could barely cut them with the steak knife. Very tough The fingerling potatoes and green beans are great. So glad our waitress convinced us to try the brown butter cake. OMG it was amazing. A little different from Mastro‘s butter cake but it was well worth the wait. It was also the best thing we had that night.
Lovely place. Good seating outside. Great service and delicious food.
I was a bit disappointed. Freshly baked bread came out with a bowl of whipped butter, a bowl of salt and a bowl of pepper, odd. I asked for Olive oil but they don’t carry any olive oil at all which is a shame as well as surprised me. The Brussels sprouts appetizer was huge for an appetizer but delicious. The entree was unremarkable. The dining room had an old, musty smell. The servers were all excellent. The best I’ve seen in Paso Robles.
Great place to eat. Not crowded
I thought the steaks were bland. They were cooked well but just lacked flavor. We will try them again because the server was very good and setting outside for dinner was excellent
I ordered a filet mignon; it came out well done.
So sad to experience the complete drop in quality. Our last time going there
Excellent Salmon dish. Coconut Shrimp was yummy. Server was great. Ambiance was perfect.
Everything was delicious as usual. Joey was a great server !
Food was delicious. My husband loved the brown butter cake
My prime rib was tough & lukewarm. No ambiance where we sat. Pleasant server. Great location in town.
Our server, Michelle seemed preoccupied. We had prime rib and it was marginal at best.
Martinis were GREAT!!!!
Maybe just a bad night...we may try again
Ironically the cooks don’t know how to prepare steaks at The Steakhouse. All the meat was underdone. Medium came out on the rare side of medium rare and an order of medium rare came out very rare. Very overpriced for the quality of the meat. But the server was very friendly and attentive.
We have previously dined at the Steak House at Paso Robles Inn and the food as well as service was so much better. The service was sufficient but the food was meh. No plans to return, ever.
Not the best option out there
Food was good and nice staff
Lived up to its reputation.....just a nice place to have dinner with friends!
Steak filet was more like a sirloin. The mashed potatoes were pretty basic. Overall for a steakhouse it was just ok. I don’t think I’ll be back.
Comment only if dining on the patio. When the sun starts to go down it gets chilly fast, bring a jacket
Great Mother’s Day dinner menu, Appetizers, Main course & Dessert. I would say that it was on the high end for the portion size, but food was cooked to perfection. Dessert Was out of this world. Overall we were very satisfied with seating & service!
