   We went for my husband's birthday because he says they have the best steak of any restaurant he has had the opportunity to eat at (and that is a lot of steaks and a lot of restaurants throughout the US).

   Our server did just enough minor irritating things to put a damper on our Mother's Day meal: - We ordered a bottle of white wine and asked for an ice bucket to keep it cold. "Oh, they're all being used: It's Mother's Day you know" she said. On subsequent trips to the restrooms we glanced at virtually all the tables in the restaurant. Total ice buckets on tables = Zero. We never did get an ice bucket. - We both ordered sandwiches. The server immediately asked, "Cheddar, Pepper Jack, or American?" Not "Would you like to add cheese for an additional charge?" When we asked about the $3 upcharge on the bill, she said "It says on the menu." (Gottcha!) I admit, it never occurred to me to have an attorney review the fine print on a restaurant menu prior to ordering. But we've only eaten out something over 500 times per year for the past 15 years; so maybe I just don't understand the food service culture. Also this is the first negative review we've submitted - anywhere. - She brought the bill immediately after bringing our food. No chance to eat first, much less order dessert. As I said, these are minor irritations, but all in all, we were treated as though our role was to get in; spend some money; and get out; to let them flip the table - hopefully to the next guest who might run up a higher tab.

   The steak, ribs, and chicken were all excellent! The service was prompt and friendly, and the food and drinks came at a reasonable time for a crowded, busy Mother’s Day. All 14 of us loved it and plan to go back again very soon!

   A traditional steak spot, popular for many years in Southern Arizona. Friendly staff, good steaks. Weekends can be very noisy depending on the musical group they have that evening.

    This is our go to place for special events. We have to drive an hour to get there. I like all their steaks but my favorite is the prime rib after it is grilled.

    Steak Out served lots of food per plate. The rib plate was good, tasty. We are always surprised when hamburgers come with no sauce

    This is your traditional old fashioned steak house. It truly is a place for a good steak and live entertainment. The Steaks are seasoned and cooked perfectly. The rest of the sides are traditional, your basic baked potato, salad etc. Wine list is decent, not over priced. This is the place if you are craving a steak and like live entertainment.

    We were celebrating a birthday. Arrived at 7 pm. Quite disappointed with the lack of availibility of menu items. Out of the willamette valley pinot noir and the prime rib… the only 2 items I wanted to order. I settled for the kebab which was rather chewy Our server, however, was fantastic and we enjoyed listening to Andy

We roast two full prime ribs on Fridays - sometimes we are sold out by 6pm and sometimes we have a whole roast left at the end of the night. It is very hard to predict. Supply chain issues continue to impact our liquor distributors. We are bound by arizona liquor laws to order through our distributors. If they are out of stock on something - we have to wait until they can supply it again. Very sorry to hear you did not enjoy your Kebab. We use our sirloin strip steak in that entree, anything cooked over medium can make that cut a little tough as it's a very lean cut of meat. We always guarantee our steaks, if something is not satisfactory our servers are always happy to have it recooked.

    The Steak Out in Sonointa is an authentic western steakhouse with mounted wildlife and live country music (very good singer musician). I had the Sonoita Sirloin…cooked to perfection and more than I could finish. But the attention from servers was best of all…very attentive and accommodating. Thank you!

    The food was amazing! It's a little pricy, but once you get your food you'll feel it's worth every penny spent! Service was great and the staff was very friendly. What we really disliked was the fact that they chase you out after an hour and a half. I get others may want a table, but that's why we made reservations, but the restaurant just wants to turn tables seeing $$$ and not focused on customer service. We went to see the band, eat good food and have a good time with friends, not to be rushed in and out.

    Ordered ribeye as medium rare and they all three came out rare and cold in the middle. Fourth person order prime rib and it was mostly fat. First time ate their the food was great. No so the second time.

    We try to frequent once a month. It is always delicious however this time my filet was the best ever. Was so happy! My baked potato was perfect too sometimes can tell they have been sitting for a bit….they get starchy…but my meal was SPOT on! Thank you!

    Good food, but barely a moderately comfortable seat, but no booths available for 2 people, with Wooden chairs for seating. Cushions should be a part of the seating. The CW singer had a good voice and played well, but the volume was so loud it interfered with having a conversation.

    Food was excellent . My filet mignon cooked perfectly! Great live music. A little loud, but they did tone it down. Prickly pear margarita excellent. Nice assortment of local wines. Will definitely go back when I’m in the area

    While visiting a friend in Arizona, we included a night at the Steak Out. We had such a fun time. The food and staff were wonderful and the live music was an added treat. I also loved the restaurants western decor and gift shop!

    The atmosphere was nice, but the live music was too loud in the main dining room. Chose to sit in the fireplace room. The filet I ordered was amazing. So tender and cooked perfectly. Sweet potato fries were a disappointment. Server seemed to forget about us after she brought our food. Had to hunt her down to get the bill. I would go again because the steak was that good.

    The service was awful! I ordered my steak medium-well and it came out rare. The server never came to check on our food. We were a part of 6 and everyone was done with their food, before she came back to take my steak and refire it. Once my steak came back it was burnt. No manager, no apologies, and they add automatic gratuity to parties of 6 or more, so seemed like there wasn’t much effort to take care of us.

    This was a Prix Fix Valentine Dinner. The waitress was overwhelmed. There was no printed menu and our waitress rattled it off and then impatiently asked what we wanted right away. We sat for 20 minutes with just water. Never got A-1 but the filet was so tender and flavorful I didn’t need it! Salad came in one bowl to share with ranch dressing “globbed” on it but tasted good. The Bailieys mud pie was delicious! Had this not been Valentine’s Day I think the service would have been better. The food made up for it. Management didn’t account for the need for more help. Good dinner- not special.

    This is the 2nd time in two years that my wife and I drove to Sonoita to eat at this superb restaurant. This time was for one of my granddaughter's 29th birthday party. My daughter, two of my other granddaughters and one of their boyfriends, my wife and I enjoy filet mignons which for the 2nd year in a row were outstanding. If you want a wonderful place to eat, make a reservation ahead of time because otherwise you may not get in. Great band, too!

    My dad loved his birthday dinner location. Our family’s first time visiting The Steak Out and it did. It disappoint! We were seated instantly and had our drinks within a couple of minutes. Dinner was delicious, we will definitely be back!
