The place was shut even when we had a booked table and no mention via Top Table to explain why. Ridiculous.

Booked for a birthday celebration and were closed when we got there!! No warning whatsoever.

The steak was amazingly cooked to perfection, host was absolutely brilliant. A nice place I will diffently be visiting again.

Service was attentive and food very tasty. The only minor niggle was the small portion of garlic new potatoes... there was only 2 or 3 small ones, which was a big contrast to the generous serving of chips.

Booked a table on line 2 weeks ahead. Received confirmation reminder of booking the day before we were due to go. Arrived on time only to be told by the owner that he had booked in a large party & didn't have room for us! He did however say that he had tried to call me on several occations but had the wrong number (whats wrong with email!) He also told us that he didn't make any money from Groupon vouchers (which we had) & that he would give us a free drink if we returned on another day! He also wanted to redeem our voucher without giving us a meal & said he would remember us! What a joke. My wife asked him to put something in writting but all he did was write our name in his diary! My sister gave us this voucher as a gift & has now lost her money. Disgraceful experience. Avoid!!!

The service was very good and our steak platter was amazing. The meat was very tender, just how we like it. We would definitely recommend The Steak Out to friends and family.
