About THE Steak House at Circus Circus - Las Vegas
THE Steak House has recently been named Top Las Vegas Steak House by Zagat. THE Steak House has been thrilling diners with it’s top grade meats served by a friendly, gracious staff for over 34 years. THE Steak House also features a glass enclosed dry aging locker. Top grade Midwestern beef is aged for 21 days at 37 degrees Fahrenheit & 67 percent relative humidity. This process tenderizes the meat & gives it a distinct flavor, which is further enhanced by preparing the beef over an open-hearth mesquite charcoal broiler. Once inside the dining room, you will feel right at home. Rural-themed paintings adorn the green walls. The room is rich with dark woods, diamond tufted red leather booths, creating a cozy den-like ambience. Dinners include fresh baked breads, choice of our famous black bean soup or house salad plus a Chef's fresh vegetable & choice of garlic mashed potato, baked potato, or wild rice blend.

THE Steak House at Circus Circus - Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Old Scool Vegas Charm
Complete gem inside old stale casino
They cook the steaks in the middle of the restaurant, which smells great !
The waiters are old school professionals
The steaks are so good ! The lobster was cooked perfectly and I’d recommend
The filet and lobster ! What a great dinner
My husband said the steak was the best he ever had, however my halibut was very bland. The garlic mashed potatoes were okay, but I’ve had better in a lot of places. The salad was also nothing to write home about other than the large chunks of blue cheese, if you’re a fan. The bread was not good. So basically it was an awesome steak and everything else was a disappointment.
Absolutely delicious!!! Every time we are in Vegas we try to stop and have their ribeye steak!! Oh my god so good!!! Can't wait to return next year!! If you are looking for a great tasting steak don't be fooled by the location in Circus Circus.... this place is absolutely delicious!!
Don’t be fooled by its location inside one of the grungiest casinos on the Strip: this is an elite five star steakhouse. Once you walk inside the doors, you’re transported away from drunken tourists with giant booze slushees, flustered gamblers, and screaming children into a warm, comfortable setting. The steaks are brazier cooked and the cuts of meat are exceptional. My ribeye was the least fatty cut I’ve ever had and incredibly flavorful.
This was my fifth visit to THE Steakhouse (first in a couple years), and the first time I've been disappointed. Very disappointed. The classic steakhouse ambiance is still excellent, but the food was a major disappointment. The French Onion soup I began with was solid, as were the sauteed mushrooms I had on the side of my steak. But we came for the steak, and that was a major disappointment. My medium-rare ribeye was cooked more on the well side of medium, but it wasn't so bad that it was worth complaining about - a ribeye can handle a little overcooking. But the real issue was that when I'm spending high end steakhouse prices, I want a Prime, dry aged steak with a lot of flavor. This steak looked the part, but it tasted like unaged Choice beef that I can get at the grocery store. Frankly, the $10 ribeyes I make on a regular basis are better than this. Heck, I think they forgot the salt - I added quite a bit.
But what was really criminal was what they did to the lobster tail my friend ordered. I tried a bit - if I'd closed my eyes and not known what it was, I would have guessed really over-cooked chicken. He decided not to complain. I wish he would have - for the price of that lobster tail, it should be perfect.
Service was solid, but not very attentive - we would have ordered another round of drinks, but the didn't come back for an extended period.
All in all, I've recommended THE Steakhouse many times. I can't do so anymore.
I can't say enough great things about THE STEAK HOUSE!!!! RESERVATIONS are not required, BUT, don't wait until the day of, because more than likely, you WILL NOT GET IN. As far as I know, there is not a dress code, but ive seen Jeans&Polos, & suit & tie.
The smell of the smoke/meat hit you as you enter the establishment. DON"T let the fact that it is inside Circus Circus keep you from thinking its a great experience. I have been eating there since 2001, and every time, is just perfect!
The Entrée does include a salad, and a side in the price! You can upgrade 1 of those selections to a soup for $6.00 (I always take the French onion)
The restaurant has an "OLD SCHOOL" steak house feel with its dark wood, and red leather seating.
I highly reccomend
Our visit to Vegas we made to dinner reservations one at Chef Gordon Ramsay and also The Steakhouse. . The steakhouse was by far a better choice and needless to say will probably be the only place we will be dining for steaks when visiting Vegas. We will not return to the Ramsey place. In comparison the steakhouse is one of the best compared to Texas
Saw this restaurant on TV and read some great reviews. I have wanted to try it for a long time and finally did it. So glad we did...it truly lived up to the hype! One of the best steaks I've ever had from any restaurant. It is pricey but worth every penny. It is a good value when you compare prices with other Vegas steakhouses and considering your salad/soup and side is included with the meal. Circus Circus is a bit shady but it doesn't take away from the atmosphere in the restaurant.
Outstanding food. We always order a bone-in rib eye steak and split and add extra sides. Plenty of food for us. We always ask for Mike from Wisconsin for our server. After our first experience years ago, he's provided outstanding service. We visited with our son and daughter-in-law (first timers) to celebrate her birthday. A chocolate mousse cake topped off the meal perfectly. Don't be put off by location in Circus Circus. The Steak House is a top restaurant and worth the travel.
The location within Circus Circus is a bit misleading. This is an upscale restaurant with excellent quality food and service. My steak was cooked to perfection and the French onion soup was divine. Our server, Richard, was phenomenal. I was very impressed with the entire experience and will definitely be returning. I highly recommend The Steak House for Las Vegas dining.
We went to THE steak house for my wife’s birthday and to round off our trip to Vegas. Wow, what a restaurant. It seemed utterly improbable that in a dump of a hotel (sorry Circus Circus but you have had better days!) we could find a great restaurant. However, there it is. A fabulous restaurant with so much ambience and authenticity. An absolute must for any visitor to this crazy city. Enjoy!
The whole experience was outstanding. The steaks were phenomenal. Javier and Mike made my mother's birthday a fun night. Javier kept us laughing & Mike gave us GREAT history about Circus Circus & old Vegas. Although we've been here before we were very disappointed with the hostess. She seemed to not know what she was doing & like she didn't want to be there. There was an Asian couple in front of us. She asked them did they speak Japanese or Chinese. I felt that was very insensitive. She could've just asked what language they spoke. Overall we loved it and will be back
66 dollars for a lukewarm, flavorless, unseasoned steak that could have come from denny's is absolutely disgusting and obscene, the establishment ought to be ashamed of itself for this brazen, egregious insult to common decency and geometry.
And then on the check they conveniently recommend what tip you leave for the pleasure, adding insult to injury.
Utter pisstake, I should have been getting money off let alone dropping 145 bucks for his disaster.
im still having nightmares from the experience days later and might require seeing a doctor.
go to denny's its ten percent of the price and is as good quality.
Is this the best steak house in Vegas... probably not; but, for the money it really can't be beat. We had 3 filet mignons and a bone in ribeye with all the trimmings; a bottle of wine, and cocktails and desert and cappuccinos for everyone for just over $400.00. I've eaten at Craftsteak, Delmonicos, and Charlie Palmer's and haven't gotten out of those places for less than $600 for two people.
