Fantastic steakhouse. Old school charm with great service and wonderful food. Petite fillet with crab legs was amazing. Best value quality steakhouse on the strip. Don’t let the Circus Circus location put you off. This place is definitely worth the trip.
Fabulous....there 29 years ago when we got married in LV and back again, just as we remembered it! Fabulous food and service! Also several of the same staff as back then....that says something about how great it truly is! Don't miss this great LV experience for a great meal, wine, food, and ambience!
I was expecting a steak with fantastic flavor but nothing out of the ordinary. For the high price I will try another steak house.
I really wanted to rate 5 stars unfortunately the food isn't as good as it used to be I really was looking forward to this visit too. Service was great waiter very friendly and ambience old school Vegas. Prices are fair too. Just let down with my Ribeye.
This is a wonderful place. The food is delicious and the ambiance is great. It’s like stepping back in time. Our waiter wasn’t that great, not very attentive but it did not discourage us from wanting to come back.
Have been several times excellent service and excellent food. The chef has been the same person for several years and he always cooks our food to perfection
This was the perfect spot for our romantic Valentine’s Day celebration!
The steakhouse truly is a diamond in the rough! Ambiance was amazing after walking through the front door you were transferred to old vegas. The aroma of wood burning and seared meat was delicious, the meat ageing locker was beautiful then you are walked by the chefs on a pedastal like Roman gods cooking. Michael our server was amazing and made the night twice as special just by his demeanor and attentiveness. Portion were huge and not too pricey. I highly recommend you try this place at least once!
Really cool, old school Vegas vibe. Waiter had worked there for over 30 years (Mike?). He was awesome. Food was excellent. Don’t be scared off by the fact that it’s in Circus Circus, which is a dump.
Was anticipating this meal for a few years. We couldn't make it our last trip to Vegas and were very happy we could make it this time.
We enjoyed everything except for the smoke. My wife (and later on myself) were so affected that we couldn't finish our meal. We were quite close to the open area where they cooked the steaks (cooked over an open wood/charcoal fire)
The food, service, everything else was spot on - what I would expect for the price.
Might have been a fluke - who knows. Would I go back? Definitely.
The service was friendly and top notch. The black bean soup is literally one of the best I have ever eaten. The filet was a decent cut and cooked just the way I wanted it on the first try. (You'd be amazed how many steakhouses can't cook a medium steak right!) When I read that they had a mesquite grill, I was looking forward to that taste in the steak, but there was literally zero flavor, not even salt! I was told to ask for the mesquite flavor next time. The dessert menu was dull, however, so we passed. I will give this place one more shot because the service was impeccable.
Enjoyed the apps, drinks, sides, steaks and desserts. Nothing stands out as exceptional, but it was a nice steak dinner in a old-school steakhouse environment at a reasonable (contextually) price. Would definitely come here again.
Fantastic steakhouse, can't say enough good things about it, I have been to a couple fancy steakhouses and this one blew the others out of the water :)
Outstanding meal! Old school steak house. Worth a taxi ride to Circus Circus!
This was the best steak house I have ever been to and who would have thought such a place existed at Circus Circus!
In a city full of cookie cutter steakhouses and restaurants with a Celebrity name attached to it, this place is a true diamond in the rough. First of all the service is outstanding and very personable, you are addressed by name ( I celebrated my wife’s birthday here). It has a very relaxing ambiance to it and has a motiff that is vintage an classy at the same time, almost old mob era feel to it. All the meat is dry aged and mesquite grilled to tender perfection and the portions are huge. My wife and I were made to feel right at home and she was even given a complementary desert for our special occasion. If you want a break from all bright lights and noise this place is worth the trip to the “rougher” side of the strip. This place is probably more popular to locals than to tourists, but it’s worth the trip if your visiting. You can eat at Gordon Ramsey’s or Emirils place and pay for a name that is not even touching your food, or you can go to this quiet gem and get a relaxing atmosphere and killer food at a better price...and you won’t be treated like just a number.
We had a perfect experience in every way at The Steak House. Dark green walls with wood paneling, perfect lighting, comfortable chairs and large tables with white tablecloths. We (4) were seated in a corner and after we ordered our cocktails we were left alone to relax and enjoy them and good company. I can’t remember the last time I experienced such perfect service. Our waiter was awesome. The food was amazing. Classic steak house menu. We were allowed enough time to enjoy our meal without feeling rushed. Yes, it was expensive, but so worth every penny. A quiet little corner to enjoy a beautiful meal in Las Vegas? This is your place. I would recommend for a romantic evening or special occasion, you know, like life!
Excellent food and service!
My wife and I have been planning to have dinner with the Steak House at Circus Circus for awhile. She has experienced dinner before and has had nothing but praise for every aspect.
So, I've been looking forward to my experience.
I was not disappointed!!!!
Thanks for a very nice and enjoyable dinner.
We will be back when in the area.
