Our AA One Rosette restaurant serves food daily and our experienced chefs take great pride in creating beautifully presented, unfussy yet full flavoured food, letting clever combinations of fresh, seasonal ingredients really shine through. Vegetarians are well catered for and many of our dishes can be produced gluten-free; with a little warning dairy-free dishes can be provided too. Our menu changes regularly and whilst we do serve traditional pub classics such as fish & chips and sticky toffee pudding we also serve a la carte dishes to tempt every palate.

Food is served throughout the pub and children and dogs are welcome in certain areas; if you have children or dogs in your party please let us know at the time of booking.

We have an external covered seating area which is sheltered from the elements and is a cosy yet Covid safe environment to dine in.

We will always try our best to cater for any additional needs that you require. Vegetarians are well catered for and many of our dishes can be produced gluten-free; with a little warning dairy-free dishes can be provided too. Our menu changes regularly and whilst we do serve traditional pub classics such as fish & chips and sticky toffee pudding we also serve a la carte dishes to tempt every palate; our seafood dishes are particularly popular. Please give us a call to discuss any dietary requirements you may have and we will accommodate these the best we can.

We have a lovely garden room that is located on the back of the building. This looks onto the garden and weather depending doors that open onto the garden area. This area is ideal for private functions such as birthdays, family meals, and small wedding receptions. We were very disappointed with this experience. It was our anniversary celebration which we were sharing with friends and sadly, virtually nothing came up to our expectations. The food was acceptable though unremarkable but the worst feature was the poor service we received. The staff were neither attentive nor friendly. We waited almost an hour to be served our food. It is possible that in the current circumstances shortage of staff could have been part of the problem but one would have thought that the hospitality industry had enough problems at the moment without self inflicted ones of their own.

Great to get back to eating at the Station. Beer always good and so is the food. Missed it tremendously during the Lockdowns. Quality of food and service as good as ever.

Impromptu lunch - this pub is consistently excellent with great food and service. The outdoor area is fantastic in the lovely beer garden, which is very sheltered and has a large covered area for when the weather turns. The food was fab as ever, fish and chip Friday, washed down by a couple of pints of Mary Jane. Always a warm and friendly place to visit - a proper country village pub.

It was very nice to return to the Station Hotel after the COVID restrictions have been lifted, the staff were their normal friendly self and made us feel welcome, service was good, Food up to the normal high standard. All four of us enjoyed the visit and will return next time we are in Yorkshire
