The staff knew when to leave you alone but be there when needed, they were super polite, friendly and professional. The food was delicious, cooked perfectly, and generous in size (could only manage a starter and main!), I highly recommend this country gastro pub.

Absolutely love this place. Wonderful attentive staff, excellent service, lovely food. So welcoming for families with children and those with dogs.

Beautiful pub and amazing food. A few very minor things that would have made it perfect such as no salt on table, not offered drinks when they were empty etc but these were very minor. The staff were clearly busy and doing a great job considering this, so we didn’t want to bother them. Would highly recommend The Star at Cotton.

Great food, wonderful service. Only personal criticism, had to ask for a spoon for the cauliflower cheese, and no spoon with mustard. Neither a deal breaker, but small details do help

Really great food with a good range of options including for kids. I had the Korean chicken and my husband had steak & ale pie - both were delicious. Would highly recommend
