Smoking smell in a none smoking section
Good food and ambience, but our orders for 8 people came out over a 10 minute period
Birthday... horrible experience! Food was poor, service nonexistent. Had to go to front destinations to get our bill
On a damp day the outdoor patio and all the street noise can be quite dreary. The patio furniture is not the easiest to navigate for sharing plates, we were hunched over the low table. They turned on the outdoor heaters and the temperature was tolerable. What was not tolerable was the strange difference between what we ordered and what arrived at our table. The first problem was the wine, we asked our waitress if a specific WHITE wine was sweet, she said no, we ordered two glasses. She brought us two glasses of red wine. (???)
We each ordered a salad but my husband's smoked trout salad with grapefruit arrived as cured salmon with pineapple. (???) My steak salad with blueberries and pickled onions had contained no blueberries only withered grapes and no onions. (???). We sent them back. We heard no apology. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, it was good.
They comped us the salads, which is nice because we didn't eat them.
Weird place. Weird vibe.
I was there three days ago and it was my time there, everything was perfect: music, food, service.
I love this restaurant. The outside is nice and cosy and the food is great. You can take all the time you need. You are never rushed.
I liked the ambiance and decor. There are areas that have more privacy than others. The service was slow considering the we were there on a Monday and it was fairly empty. We ordered appetizers, entrees, and dessert. The food was tasty and very well seasoned. As the restaurant got busier the service became less consistent.
There were kids running around screaming and it was really distracting to our conversation.
The set up and patio are lovely and very cozy, minus the noise.
At the end of the evening, we got dessert, but didn't get spoons for quite some time. It took a while to get the check, and I when I asked for my food to be boxed, I was given a container to box it myself. Typically I am fine with that, but at a certain price point, it's expected that the server takes care of that.
I would give this place another shot, as the food was tasty. My suggestion, go when you have hours to kill.
The outdoor seating seats are not comfortable at all, layout is good . Over priced also their alcohol menu is very poor .
A hidden treasure! Hard to believe we just discovered this fun and tasty restaurant. We will certainly make it a regular stop. The outdoor space is great and Friday night music was a nice surprise.
Wine list said prosecco with fresh strawberries. Out comes dark red wine with bubbles that tasted like koolaid. We asked our waiter who was godawful where’s the fresh strawberries. He said they don’t have that.
After we ordered from the menu, everything took forever to come, especially our waiter. Now mind you the restaurant barely has anyone there. When we do get our food we noticed the next table to us has another waiter, and what really bothered us was that they were being told about specials tonight. We were never anything. After we were done eating we must have waited 20mins to get the bill and another 20 for him to come back.
Will never come back here. CRAP!!!!
Our second time here and DEFINITELY not our last! We love this place. What a gem! The Manager was so kind to us as was our waiter. We love everything about this place! Great food, nice music and whether you’re inside or outside, it’s magical. Thank you!!!
I really wanted to be outside, but they said there wasn’t any heaters available. We then wanted to be in between the outside and inside because there was live music which sounded great but we wanted to talk. The service was good and the Bday girl was happy. Thank you.
From the moment we walked into this restaurant we knew there was something special about it. The layout is very unique. It was our first time here and will definitely not be our last. Once we were greeted by our server, we noticed that a couple next to us had a delicious looking plate of skewers. We ordered the same thing and were pleasantly surprised. The food is exquisite. We were celebrating our four year anniversary and I’ve already asked my girlfriend to take me there for my birthday in three weeks.
Beautiful ambiance, excellent service!
It was a raining day so I'm not surprised, but we were the only people in the restaurant for the two hours we were there. The inside was comfortable. Service was great and the food was terrific. I would definitely like to come back to enjoy the outside area. It's the biggest area and has cute seating. Seems like a nice place to have breakfast on a warm day or wine on a warm evening.
Amazing and romantic for a date night! A hidden gem of a restaurant. The food was well priced and delicious. Outdoor seating is a must for its ambiance and live music.
Went on a Sat night at 7 pm. Not very crowded but there were some big groups. The place has lots of space. Really nice outdoor ambiance and live jazz music playing at just the right level. The place wasn't too loud which I really appreciate. The cheese plate was sort of odd. Not up to the standard I'm used to. The barbecue was good but not great. It was a little inconsistent and the shrimp was a little tough. The menu said there would be scallops and there weren't and no one told us that in advance. The beef and the chicken were good as was the ravioli. The chocolate mouse and the apple strudel were tasty treats.
I wanted to like this restaurant since a friend had recommended it. However, I was very disappointed in my meal. I ordered a pasta with grilled chicken and from the first bite of my rubbery chicken I knew I was not going to be impressed. My husband did like his seafood salad but my daughter was not happy with her GF pizza. The staff was very attentive, we were 1 of only 3 parties on the patio. Unfortunately I can’t recommend and will not be returning.
Beautiful relaxed setting, great food, great service.
Great experience! Great food, entertainment was outstanding and the service was friendly and inviting! Highly recommend it!
Cute patio with great ambience. Really great service!
Went to the Stage on 12/8 for dinner; I had the veal chop, which was pretty good, and my wife the ribeye, which was also a good dish. However, the desserts were very lacking; as I had an Apple Strudel that should just be called a pastry strudel since there was almost zero apple content.
But the worst was the music that was playing....they had a live band that sounded like they were "warming up" the entire time, and a trombone player who could not hit a note to save his life. When they tried playing Dave Brubeck's "Take Five" without a clarinet, subbing for the above trombone, well that was more than we could take and we left.
Poor service. The waiter basically was useless.
They don’t have a firm grasp on what gluten is.
Service a little slow but tolerable for
First time there and was told by a friend. Great ambiance and great to go there in large groups. Nice music, except for the table next to us had his iPhone on playing loud Armenian music which was overpowering the nice band performing. Service was slow and a little scattered. We had to get up and go to the front to ask for things we needed at the table. Prices are a little high for what is being offered.
I wish the olive music lasted a little longer after 10.
Nice outdoor dining. Good ambience and privacy. Lovely live music. The food was flavorful and tasty. I think they can use more servers because we waited a very long time for our food. Overall a nice place and will go back against
Excellent restaurant. Great food, fantastic service and outdoor seating. I definitely recommend it for any special location or just for a casual nice outdoor dining
Excellent food and service. Ambiance of restaurant is amazing
Consistently the best place in Burbank! The Stage is always wonderful.
We ate lunch at The Stage on a Sunday.... we were there early 11.45amish and it was very quiet. By the time that we left ~90mins later though the parking lot was pretty full. So I imagine the noise level went up. We thought the menu had great selections and we had among our group a seafood salad, a smoked trout salad and chicken marsala. All were good. We will definitely return as there are many other menu selections that we would like to try. The outside patio is a pretty spot to eat in too.
My only gripe is only beer and wine. Other than that this place is fantastic! Great ambiance, server, food, menu, comfort, relaxing. Loved it!
Really beautiful, romantic spot, but was surprised to find so many kids! The recorded music was terrible elevator music, but the live music at 7:30 was amazing—more of this! Service was just ok—most staff appeared to be new and it was our waiter’s first night, so finding out what sauces were on our skewer plate was futile. They know how to grill beef. Chicken was a tad dry and shrimp/scallop was over cooked on outside, undercooked on inside. Peach appetizer was huuuuge. I’d go again for a date at 7:30 and try new stuff.
Food good, service awful. Two of us were served our entrees and waited almost a half hour for the third person in our party to get his entree. Hostess promised a 10% discount on our bill (woohoo) but it never materialized. Waiter then brought a beer we didn’t order and we never got any water refills. Who’s running the place?! Will not go back.
Very nice restaurant good service good food good music
Our server was awesome I wish I could remember his name but we had a really good time.
Good for outdoor, but the service is really poor and the food it’s okay.
The staff seemed stressed. They were a bit slow to bring drinks. That would have kept us occupied while waiting for other service. It was a busy Friday night so we were patient.
The food was very good. We missed the appetizer flight that we shared previously. Please bring it back. It is a fun start to an evening with friends.
Love this place, one of my favorite spots, but no service whatsoever. Need big improvements on service.
I will go back just for great food and ambiance.
Just want to be very honest and give you my thoughts what needs to be changed and improved.
One of our favorite spots to meet friends! Garden setting, live music, good food! Try the grilled skewers! Everything is beyond good!
